Just got this blowoff valve today not hard to install with some basic tools and know-how and it gives the car a better sound also I like that it has different levels of venting bias. I played around with closed, open and 50/50 and ended up leaving it at 75% open. Sounds good and overall would highly recommend.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: GFB BOV  Tanner frank 1 year ago

I recently bought a gfb bov for my 2006 Sti and I’ve been messing with it for about a week and have noticed I can no longer build the 19-20 psi of boost I had and caps out around 17-18 now. Any suggestions?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  I would double check for any boost leaks. The BOV by itself shouldn't effect your boost.

So I’ve had the gfb bov for over a year. Car had stumbled quite a few times and I’m sure it was set to mostly atmospheric. Never thought anything of it. Yesterday I adjusted it after reading up on how to. I tightened the spring a turn and a half until it didn’t stumble after revving then closed the valve to recirc more. Car pulls hard consistently at 17-19 now as before it was 14-17 and didn’t feel like it pulls as hard as it does now. Is this normal? Lol

A:  There maybe some vacuum issues with your setup. To figure out your issue, please reach out to your tuner or contact our customer service.
