The Prosport Subaru Oil Galley Plug makes for a convenient provision for those of you to install an oil temperature, or an oil pressure gauge, This plug features a threaded center section and will accept any probe or sensor with a 1/8” NPT fitting.
This makes mounting a gauge simple, and you can install this galley into any of the three locations on the vehicle.

The part came with Teflon tape pre-wrapped on the threads. Super easy install. Perfect for my oil pressure sensor. Only down side is I'd have to remove it if I ever need to remove the throttle body. But how often am I going to do that.

This come with PTFE thread tape (despite the oil pressure gauge instructions saying not to use it). The threads on this fitting are straight and do no require sealing tape (or sealant), but should have a copper or aluminum sealing crush washer. This piece also comes with a brass washer which is not ideal for sealing, it really should have a copper or aluminum washer for sealing. Aside from that, it is well made.

This made my installation easy. I used the plug right behind the alternator on my 2013 STi, and this plug made my Prosport gauge installation so much easier. Took me about 10 mins to remove the alternator and put this plug on. I used extra plumbers tape and so far, its beenva week and no leaks.

Others stated problems with the threads, they looked fine on mine. Comes with a crush washer and allows you to install aftermarket oil sensors. Pick up a 1/8NTP grease gun extension and install in place of the OE pressure sender adapter underneath the alternator. This will give you the best reading.
