Features & Product Details

The Autotech High Pressure Fuel Pump Kit. Also known as the HPFP, this is a must have for those of you with cam-driven fuel pumps located in the engine bay. If you do any sort of modification that either adds horsepower or requires a tune, it is always a safe bet to have enough fuel to supplement those modifications. Additionally, if your factory HPFP has failed, then this makes for an execllent replacement.

Here are some key features:

  • Each piston (9.8mm) and cylinder in Autotech HPFP kit undergo high-precision grinding processes many times during their manufacture, ensuring that the most precise tolerances are maintained through the final step. Not the cheapest way to make them, but the best way.
  • Each piston and cylinder are match-ground and serialized to ensure absolute precision and the utmost longevity.
  • Autotech was the first to incorporate plasma DLC coating on HPFP components to reduce friction losses and increase performance. Others have tried to follow by adding a coating to their parts. However, the DLC process alone is not enough – it is not a cure for substandard precision – the parts must be engineered specifically for the process to take full advantage.
  • Achieve flow rates that are 50% higher than the original pump.
  • Volkswagen/Audi Note: This is for the 2006-2008.5 VW/Audi 2.0T FSI motors. If your car is a 2008, you need to verify if your car is FSI or TSI before ordering .

My psi was reading 80-300 and it would cut boost hard. I put this part in, in about 1 hour. It ran 800-1600 and under boost it’ll go to 2100 psi fuel pressure. Great for a upgrade and also replacement for a failing high pressure fuel pump in my Mazdaspeed!

where does this part go on an Audi A4? does this replace the pump on the tank? or does it replace the part by the cam follower on the back of the engine?

A:  These parts replace the internals of the direct injection pump, which is driven by the cam.
