A:  This pump can spray more fuel than your injectors would allow. You should have no fueling issues with this 320LPH pump.

  • Q: Rubber sleeve  Subiesuperlover6 years ago

Can i install the rubber sleeve to ensure it is stable inside the fuel pump unit? Or I should not install it as it is made of plastic? Thanks
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It is perfectly fine to install the rubber sleeve if needed. AEM designed it to be used in the tank when the pump itself fits too loosely in the housing.

  • Q: campare  quincy7 years ago

What is the difference between the Walbro Fuel Pump 255Lph and the AEM other then size? And which one is better? I'm looking for something to handle 500-600hp?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This pump is rated at 320Lph of flow at 43psi, where the Walbro is rated at 255Lph of flow at similar pressure. At 500-600WHP you typically need to run duel pump set ups, but this will also depend on your set up and fuel being used. Please contact your tuner or give us a call and we can help to better guide you as per your builds needs

A:  If you are saying you need duel pumps to run 500-600hp why does your description of this product claim it supports up to 1000hp?

A:  The 1000hp is at 43psi. However with boost your pressure will rise by every 1 pound of boost. So the output of the pump at say 20 pounds of boost is a lot lower than 43 psi.
