    Good Pump 4 months ago

Great pump for my STI. Working well with e85 and 93 octane. Little bit noisy, but not as bas as some setups I've seen.

ran the 300c w ethanol on 1300's, stock wiring, and still had room to spare. was only running the pump @75%. installation was super easy, direct drop in. downside... price, and that these pumps fail. alot. many huge shops wont even install them anymore. didnt think it would happen to me. failed at about 4k miles. switched to AEM.

    Good upgrade 2 years ago

Good upgrade if you're replacing your old pump. Fits like a glove. Make sure to take out the old spacer off the old fuel pump and use both o-rings. No tune needed.

A:  For 700hp (awhp?) you are definitely going to need more than 1 in-tank pump. E85 use? One possibility would be to use one of our surge tanks (2.5L or 3.5L) with dual DW inline pumps to feed your engine.

    • Q: Is this a direct fit for 2011 WRX  bkruelle3 years ago

Is this a direct fit for 2011-2014 WRX?
    • Q: Correct fuel pump  Fuel rail3 years ago

I am wondering if this is the correct pump to buy if I am getting a set of 1300cc injectors. I couldn't find too much information online to calculate the correct flow for my application. I am trying to make 450+ HP, and is this a direct drop in fuel pump? I have a 2009 Spec B.
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Deatschwerks has a handy fuel pump calculator available on their website in the tools section but this should support your needs. This is confirmed for your vehicle as well.

    • Q: tuning   jbgta0073 years ago

Is a tune required to run this fuel pump, or can you run this on the stock tune and injectors. Obviously to receive full benefit of a higher flowing fuel pump a need to consume more fuel is necessary. I plan on doing modifications in increments, but don't want to buy parts now and realize I need larger parts in the future. Which leads me to my other question: would picking this fuel pump over deatcshwerks other drop in pump the dw65c have any negative affects being oversize for the application?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Tuning is not required for fuel pumps as, and you can use this with the stock injectors. There should be no negative effects from going with this pump over the DW65C, but there would also be no advantage unless you need the extra fuel flow.
