  • Q: Universal or year specific?  Elijah2 months ago

is this pump a "universal fit" or specifically for 2002-2007 wrx/sti's?
  • Q: Good pick for EJ207 swap?  W. Seisenbacher4 months ago

I am debating between this and the 255lph pump for my planned EJ207V8 swap. Would this flow enough for an EJ207V8 with these mods: 8mm phenolic spacers VF37 turbo @21psi Tomei Expreme Twin Scroll Headers ACT Streetlite Flywheel Aiming for ~350AWHP
  • Q: Non turbo 2.5i  Yaboyrumble9 months ago

Would the dw300 work fine on my na 2.5i or would 255 be better??
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Unfortunately, we have it as a universal fitments so we have no confirmed fitment for your car, however, these pumps are meant for turbo charged vehicles pushing big power. This would give you far more fuel than you would ever use.

A:  I have the AEM 340lph pump on my NA 06 2.5i, works just fine. Open loop runs a little bit rich but the ECU compensates for up to +/-40% air and fuel. No tune yet, but runs better than the OEM fuel pump in my opinion. You can do a bigger pump with OEM injectors without an issue. The amount of fuel that will enter the cylinders depends on the size of the injectors, not the pump, but big injectors with a small fuel pump will burn up the pump. Too big fuel injectors and pump with too little air will cause saturation of the cylinders and vice versa.

Will this be good for my pump gas 400whp wrx stock location gt3076r
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  I would suggest doing a Walbro 450 pump, that way you have plenty of fuel and you can always shoot for more power down the line.

  • Q: HP/Injectors  502sti11 months ago

I was looking at this pump for my 07 sti build. My goal is 500whp with supporting mods on e85, would this pump delivery enough fuel for a 500whp application? Also what size injectors would be best for my goals? Also, Deatsch Werks calculator wasnt working for me.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This pump would not be a good fit for 500whp, I would suggest doing a Walbro 450 pump with Injector dynamics 1700cc injectors.

  • Q: Comparable to Walbro 255?   Jlott542 years ago

Looking for fuel pumps and want a step up from the walbro 255 would this be my best option for a fuel pump that's just a bit bigger?
  • Q: how my hp will it support?  aaron.giertz171182 years ago

How much horse power can this fuel pump support?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Hello Aaron, Thank you for your question. There are a few factors to consider before we are able to answer this question with more accuracy. These factors mainly include: type of fuel used, base fuel pressure, boost pressure, and voltage supplied to the pump. For a ballpark estimate, 400-450hp on E85 and 500-550hp on gasoline in an AWD Subaru application running moderate boost (25-30psi) and a 3 bar (40-43psi) base fuel pressure. We do have fuel component calculators available on the DW site, should you want to try out different or specific parameters: http://www.deatschwerks.com/resources/fuel-calculators/

  • Q: 04 Legacy  LilSubieGurl3 years ago

I'm looking for a new fuel pump for my stock 2004 legacy L 35th anniversary, and the site says this is an exact fit. I'm just double checking before I buy and wondering if it'll work on just regular unleaded gas like e87 at wawa. Thanks!
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Yes this is confirmed to fit the vehicle you have listed, and this fuel pump is compatible with E85 as well as regular pump gas.

A:  I would recommend removing the rear seat and cover to check if your Legacy has a plastic or metal fuel pump assembly. If your Legacy has a metal assembly, this is the pump + kit you need. If your Legacy has a plastic assembly, this pump + kit is not the correct fitment. We currently do not have a pump + kit available for the 2000-2004 Legacy chassis with a plastic assembly. Some of our customers have reported they have used with late model Subaru compact pump + kit with success, however it is not officially confirmed - DET 9-309-1008

    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You can use this pump with the stock injectors and E85, but 565cc injectors will limit you to about 290whp on E85. Please contact customer service for recommendations on injector sizing.

    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This pump will not provide enough flow to get the full potential from your 2000cc injectors. This will flow enough for approximately 50-60% duty cycle with 4 2000cc injectors.
