Love these injectors. very easy to tune
nolliebsnoseblunt96239 3 years ago
Just installed these injectors on my 2009 sti, they do require fuel rail spacers which DW doesnt mention, They are really tight against the avcs solenoids on the front of the heads, but Besides that they are great and extremely easy to tune contrary to what you will hear from some people. I highly recommend them!

I have used these injectors for well over a year now, on my 2009 WRX - I have done the walbro 255, this, and threw e85 at the 20g on the car, which has shown 417WHP. Church Automotive Testing said that these injectors are just fine, no problems, and works as they should.

Stay away they dont work

these are the worst aftermarket part you can put on your car. my tuner was unable to get these to work. difficult start, rough idle, misfires ect. these are terrible my car misfired at 2k to 3k and then ran fine as the rpms went higher or lower than that range. they are very inconsistent some people will tell you that there's ran fine and they had no problems but most others will tell you to dump them. my car is a 2011 with less than 20k miles. me and my tuner double checked every possible problem or reason and we could not find why these injectors simply would not work. even contacted deatschwerks and used there instructions and guide lines and still didnt work. stay away if you looking for injectors get 1000cc's. if your doing a full build get 2000cc or better these injectors go in the misfit category and dont really work with anything there either to big or to small.

So far so good

Had these installed with fuel rails & lines. My tuner says that they are pretty good. There are 2 concerns though: 1)when i had these installed, they had to add spacers (washers) in order to fit the injectors with the rails. not sure if it was due to the injectors themselves or the fuel rail. 2)After installing everything and getting tuned, ONLY on initial start up, my car dies unless you give it gas for about 20 seconds then the car is able to hold idle just fine. as a note, i upgraded my fuel pump to a DW300 in order to run e85 in the future & a tomioka fuel rail kit. I am getting tuned for e85 tomorrow, so I may have to update this review after my tune.

i have a 2011 sti sedan and i just want to add that these injectors DO work, and are a drop in replacement to the oem ones. DW even came with a buy back option for your oem injectors worth $200. However i may add i did not do the work myself. i took them to get installed at my local auto shop for about 100 bucks. And he did confirm they are 100% drop in. i am running these injectors with a DW65c pump on e85. i must say the upgrade is AWESOME!

Do i need anything else beside these injectors and will they just drop in? 2015 STi

    • A: No these injectors will work with your 2015 STI. They don't need anything else they utilized OEM injector connectors, and are confirmed drop-in fitment.

Do I need to buy a fuel rail for my engine (build EJ257) in my 2009 Spec B?

    • A: Adding fuel rails would be beneficial for your build with these injectors. Give us a call if you need more in depth assistance.

how much power can these injectors handle?

    • A: That depends on the type of fuel you are looking to run. Deatschwerks has an excellent fuel injector calculator on their website under the resources section which will allow you to see what kind of injector is needed for your goals.

I have a 2011 WRX. Like the reviewer states, do u need to upgrade the rails or not?

    • A: These injectors are a drop-in replacement for the 2002-2011 WRX and 2007-2011 STi. No modifications to your fuel rail are necessary.

    • A: They do fit I purchased from another site and they just needed to be spaced with shims. Other than that they worked great. largest top feed injectors you can use. Great product:)
