  • Q: Any other parts needed to install on 2012 STI?  WRC fan1 month ago

Will be installing a Blouch 20g after finishing fuel system upgrades and tuning. Do these injectors require any other parts in order to be installed? Want to confirm that they work with the OEM injector connectors and fuel rails.
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These injectors are plug and play with proper tuning and they are compatible with OEM and most aftermarket rails.

  • Q: Injectors for a 18g  Nelson Asay11 months ago

Hi! Will these injectors be able to handle a 18g turbo? If not or maybe, what would be a better injector option? Thanks!
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Great question! Yes these would be able to handle the 18g turbo just fine. It's when you start getting into built motor, E85, bigger turbo than the 18g where you will see these guys be not enough.

  • Q: injector swap  aggie1132 years ago

If my car currently has DW 850cc injectors would I need a retune to just swap them out?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  If the car is tuned for the 850CC DW then you should be fine to swap them out.

A:  I would recommend at least having the tune checked. While the general injector characteristics should be the same, the injectors likely will not be balanced around the same flow rate. Is it enough to cause an issue, unlikely. ...but if your original set was balanced on the high or low end of the range and the new set is on the opposite, it can cause a lean or rich condition.

  • Q: Turbo  Cruz3 years ago

Do I have to retune I have right know the td05h 16 g with 565 injectors But I wanna put a td05h 18 g what injectors to use? Will I gan more hp after ?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Injectors will require a new tune. The 18g is a larger turbocharger and will net you more power over the 16g.

I have a 2014 Sti with down pipe and a Cobb AP tuned to make 280hp at the wheels on pump gas...will I see any power gains or get the max out of my stock turbo?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You might see slight gains with a pro tune however, you won't utilize these injectors until you upgrade the turbo.

  • Q: Pump gas and e85  chk1220251994 years ago

So if these can handle more power on pump gas, does that just mean that more mods are needed to build that power on pump gas?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Yes, chk. The pump is a supporting mod, only. It cannot produce any additional power only supply enough fuel to support it.

A:  I said pump in my initial reply, but both pumps and injectors are supporting mods. They will not make more power on their own as they are only able to provide more fuel.

I am running a Cobb stage to and I want to get a custom tune for E 85 are these good injectors or need to go higher
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  850cc injectors will support approximately 320whp on E85 and larger injectors are recommended if your power goal is higher than that.

    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  E85 is capable of making more power because the combustion temps will be lower and that is safer for the engine so you can make more power, but you will need to use more E85 to get the same results.

Approximately, what is the max whp I can attempt to get using these 850cc injectors?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The max whp will depend on what type of fuel you are using, but with 91 octane gasoline you can reach roughly 400whp with these injectors.

  • Q: Deatschworks  Hornecker7 years ago

Is it possible to have over kill injectors? Or can you upgrade your injectors before you need them?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  There is a point when it would be considered overkill and you are not optimizing the injector size. You can run larger injectors before they are technically needed, but you will need to have a custom tune in order to do so. :)

WHEN WOULD I NEED THESE? FOR WHAT MODS?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You will only need larger injectors when your power output exceeds that of the factory fuel injectors. This typically occurs with any type of turbo upgrade over the factory unit.
