2011 STI sedan, Install was a PITA
godmodeon 2 years ago
For those who actually do their own work on their cars, I suggest a few things to install while upgrading your Fuel Injectors. You will be removing your Intercooler, Battery, and Air intake. I suggest installing a new set of spark plugs, EBCS, upgraded pitchstop, turbo heat shield or blanket along with the fuel injectors. I followed the step by step install instructions found on NASIOC. It took me about 4 hours to install by myself. Total of 8 hours install time with the GrimSpeed EBCS, PERRIN fuel pressure regulator, NGK one step colder spark plugs, and DW65c fuel pump. Added bonus is that you have the option to send in the OEM fuel injectors for $40 each core rebate via check or paypal. So really these injectors are $249. I drove to my tuner making sure I did not boost at all and had a tune. So much awesome!!

  • Q: Are these a good option for my build?  Elliot Renick 2 months ago

    Answer

Will I be able to make 400awhp on these injectors with a walbro 255 matched with a Forced Performance Htz Blue turbo?

    • A: These would be a bit small for your build. I would go for 850cc-1000cc on pump gas or 1300cc on E85.

  • Q: Questions  MDub 3 years ago

    Answer

Would these injectors max out on my 09 WRX running a Blouch 440xt and a stage 2 tune? Also do the stock 09 WRX injectors qualify for the Deatschwerks rebate? Thanks a bunch!

    • A: 750cc should support the 440xt just fine on pump gas. The Deatschwerks rebate is through Deatschwerks and we do not have any specific information. It would be best to contact them.
