  • Q: Fitment  Otis13 years ago

Will this work in conjunction with a rally innovations bar I have mounted as well? I’d like to run both but am not sure if they’ll both fit.
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You would likely need to modify something to get it to work, I can't imagine it would be too difficult, but I doubt they would work together right out of the box. Thanks,.

  • Q: carbon fiber splitter dimensions  cjviper164 years ago

what are the dimensions of the splitter for the 2016 Dodge Challenger (392 Scat Pack)? I believe they should also be the same for the 2016 Challenger Hellcat?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  From checking on their site, APR actually lists the Hellcat and SRT-8 splitters under separate part numbers. The shape also appears to be more rounded and triangular on the SRT splitter, and almost "M" shaped for the Hellcat. Unfortunately, we don't have dimensions listed since they aren't parts that we carry, I would recommend reaching out to APR on that.

  • Q: Splitter Rods  KP4 years ago

Is it required to have the splitter rods on with the splitter for daily driving?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  APR strongly recommends using support rods, as these splitters will produce downforce at high speeds, and can rip off without proper brackets or support rods.

Can you measure this for me and tell me the width and length of it please.
  • Q: Arp front splitter fitment   Grant6 years ago

Will this Splitter fit my 2009 wrx hatchback? And if not what one will?
  • Q: Splitter rods length  reiementz571226 years ago

I'm just curious to know whats the length of the splitter rods that is included with this front splitter? I just wanted to know in case I need to buy extended rods to mount where I wanted to. Thanks!
  • Q: Frame mounts?  luke.williamson74892157 years ago

Does this splitter mount to the frame at all? It doesn't look like it could a lot of stress without solid mounting points to the frame of the car, but being carbon fiber I could be wrong. It also looks like I have to drill holes for fitment, is that correct?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This splitter mounts to the bumper and undercarriage of the car. Due to its construction, it is pretty solid. You will need to do some drilling to get it to fit.

  • Q: Installation  STHYEEE7 years ago

There's 12 screws shown in the hardware image just wondering where these would be mounted to on the bumper because the bumper only has 7 bumper mountable slots under the car on the bumper. Basically wondering if there were any installation instructions?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  There are no installation instructions for APR front wind splitters, and each installation will be custom. The splitter itself is specific to the car, but the mounting hardware is universal.

  • Q: oil changes  st.george802278 years ago

Will this splitter get in the way of the oil filter or drain? And will this splitter need to be held on with any brackets besides the two supplied?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Splitters usually obstruct the oil filter when it is installed and you can either remove it for oil changes, or trim a section out for access to the filter. For high speed track use; additional support rods are recommended with additional chassis support brackets.

  • Q: Material  o-connor966108 years ago

Apr lists two different types of material, a thinner and a boxed thicker. Which one is this? And if it's the thinner, do you offer the thicker for those of us tracking at higher speeds?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This is the standard material and we can special order the carbon fiber + nomex honeycomb type. Please contact customer service if you would like to special order the thicker version.

Can I also use this with a front lip spoiler, or does this replace it?

Will this splitter cause issue when changing the oil, I have herd people complain that they need to remove the splitter every time due to it blocking the oil filter and not having enough room to get a hand in to change it
