  • Q: 2008 Spec B Fitment  Sap5 months ago

Your Exedy Lightweight Flywheel - Subaru STI 2004+ MODEL # EXE FF501A states that it fits my 2008 Legacy Spec B but your ACT StreetLite Flywheel - Subaru STI 2004+ MODEL # ACT 600235 states that is does NOT fit my 08SpecB. I'm looking to pair this ACT StreetLite with ACT HD Performance Street Disc Clutch Kit - Subaru STI 2004+ / Legacy GT spec.B 2007-2009 MODEL # ACT SB10-HDSS. Is this possible?

  • Q: Streetlite or prolite flywheel  Jason Sharp2 years ago

Which flywheel would be better suited for the ACT heavy duty 6 puck clutch. I'm using my 2015 Subaru STI as a daily but I do ALOT of hard driving . Just wondering what would be a better pick the ACT streetlite or the ACT prolite flywheel.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  For a vehicle that is daily driven, the streetlite will be the better choice. This will hold up fine with even aggressive hard street driving.

  • Q: Lightweight flywheel paired with GrimmSpeed Lightweight Pulley?  Kjan44 years ago

Reading that it is possible to throw a CEL with a lightweight flywheel and lightweight pulley installed. Is it recommended that I just get my OEM flywheel resurfaced since I already have the pulley installed? Or will I be in the clear?
  • Q: Zero position marks?  02bugeye4 years ago

Installing this flywheel with the Competition stage 2 clutch kit. There are marks that have to be lined up with the flywheel and pressure plate. Where is the zero mark on these flywheels?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  ACT does not mark the flywheel, you basically rotate the flywheel until it lines up with the pressure plate.

  • Q: tune  subiestar055 years ago

will a tune fix any CELs that may occur?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  A tune would not help if you have a check engine light for a flywheel being too light, but this flywheel should not cause a CEL.

  • Q: Cel issues  travelguy2k5 years ago

I ave the Cobb light weight pully, and am thinking to add this and possibly the carbon fiber driveshaft to reduce power lost in the drive train. What issues might this cause in the ecu? I will be running stage 2 and plan to have a custom tune after install.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  If the flywheel and crank pulley are too light they may cause a CEL for a random multiple misfire. From my experience the Cobb pulley and Streetlite flywheel usually do not cause any issues.

CAN I INSTALL THIS FLYWHEEL WITH A STAGE2 COMPETITION CLUTCH KIT?
  • Q: Is tuning required?  sotm519482407 years ago

Will this flywheel cause a check engine light due to the engine having less rotating mass? Also is it recommended or mandatory to get your engine tuned when this flywheel is installed?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Just the flywheel by itself we have not seen cause any CEL's. However if used with a very light pulley it might be a issue.
