  • Designed with a Setrab core that maximizes heat dissipation without pressure build-up
  • Oil-ways are interspaced with airway corrugations providing optimum heat transfer
  • Most PERRIN Oil Cooler setups see a drop of approximately 15°-20°F at 7000 RPM
  • Setrab Oil Coolers employ an in-line turbulator to gently stir the fluid being cooled
  • Designed with an integrated 85°C (185°F) thermostat
  • PERRIN Spacer included allowing for an easier installation of the thermostat-filter assembly

Exactly what I needed 2 years ago
    5out of 5stars

I had a couple choices but I knew that the Perrin had put together a great combo! From the description of the stats I was hoping for some big results and it did prove ... in pulling 3rd and 4th gear around 3k and up temps used to be 210 and up in the FA20 engine Stage 2+ heavy modded... now it won’t go over 198! Absolutely satisfied! Quick note that the filter that came with it was for an EJ25 engine, not the FA20 ... it leaked no mater how tight I tried and I didn’t want to tighten too tight so I went and got the correct filter.

Will this Oil cooler Kit fit with an ETS FMIC 3”?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  If you use the stock bumper bar, it should still work for you since this bolts to holes in the factory bumper bar. If you use the ETS support bar, modification may be necessary.

Do I understand correctly the the car would run normally until oil temperature reaches 185 degrees. The the thermostat would open to allow oil to run through the cooler? This should help extend the life of the car even in stock form right?
      • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You are correct. The oil cooler would be bypassed until the oil reaches 185 degrees and keeping the oil at the proper operating temperature does help longevity on stock and built engines.
