This is the South Bend Stage 2 Endurance Clutch Kit. This particular clutch kit has been designed to sustain vehicles with both modifications and driving conditions that would otherwise surpass the limits of the OEM clutch kit. If you have moderate bolt-on upgrades that will increase the power and the torque, and it you like to participate in weekend track events, then this clutch can handle the power and abuse. This clutch kit features South Bend's Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate that has been precision balanced to maintain a vibration-free operation at higher RPMs, and it is combined with a hybrid full-face Feramic disc on the flywheel side with an organic-lined face on the pressure plate side. The result is a powerful clutch kit that is comfortable and tolerable enough for street driving, but can endure the arduous conditions associated with racing. 

 

 

 

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • The pressure plate fulcrum is altered for a positive disengagement to promote quicker shifts
  • The disc included in this kit has been engineered with a dual damped design to provide accurate control when accelerating through corners
  • The friction material on the disc is a hybrid combination of a full face Feramic (sintered iron) lining on the flywheel side along with a high metal content with organic lining on the pressure plate side
  • The engagement is considered to be positive yet buffered due to the high graphite content that is unique to Feramic facings
  • Designed for daily and street use with an emphasis on rally and endurance racing
  • Applications may vary but will also include the throw-out bearing, alignment tool, and pilot bearing for a complete kit

      Currently have a cc stage 3 dual friction. How does peddle feel in comparison to stock of the cluch i currently have? I have had to replace my master cylinder 3 times cause it blows out the bottom due to the extra pressure . wish one of this companies would make an upgraded master cylinder.

        A:  This kit will work with an OEM flywheel, although you'll need to have it resurfaced if it is used.
