I really love the ease of use of the Fumoto Valve in my Subaru. No more mess, and no more getting or buying the crush washer. For the people wanting this for their Crosstrek, get it, it’s the same thread M16-1.5 like the FRS & WRX. Mine is a 2017 and the page says that it does not fit, it did fit, and I went to Fumoto page myself to confirm and it is the same part number for the Crosstrek too. It only works from 2013-2018, after 2019 it has the M20-1.5.
Very nice and made oil change very easy and quick
If you change your oil yourself, this is a must have. I can change my oil so much faster plus it's not nearly as messy as it is without one. I can now do oil changes without gloves and I don't get any oil on my hands. Best purchase I've ever made. Getting one of these for every car that I have now.
Great product and does exactly what its suppose to. Super easy to install.
Oil changes are easier and faster to do with the Fumoto Oil Drain Valve. The black clip that comes with it keeps the valve from opening on its own. Its a must have if you do your own oil changes.

Q: washer type Alexander11 months agoDo you use the washer that comes with this on the 2017 wrx or do you use crush washers like oem ones.

A: I would just use the included gasket. I'm sure an OEM crush gasket would work, but we've never seen any issues with the included seal. Thanks.Rick C. @ RallySport Direct 11 months ago
