Purchased these for my 2014 Forester XT. As said in the other review they showed up leveled from the factory. I took mine quite a bit lower than the preset height. Preset dampening isn’t bad, slightly bouncy but nothing unexpected from lowering. Great product!
I purchased these a few weeks ago for my 2016 XT. As expected, they fit well, drive well, and are built well. Out of the box, they were preset evenly, unlike some coilovers I purchased in the past. It only took me about 30 minutes to install these (Subaru master technician with access to a lift and working on these for the past 8 year). I went another half inch lower than the preset. I do not have rear adjustable control arms and its at -2.6 degrees. The front camber plates were left at 0, only the eccentric bolts were used, set to -1 degrees. They are not too firm, about the feel of a stock GR2 STI. I dont have anything bad to say about these actually.
