Features & Product Details
The turbocharger can be one of the hottest components in the engine bay. This can affect surrounding components such fuel lines, and more importantly the intercooler can become heat soaked. The GrimmSpeed Turbo Heat Shield makes sure the heat stays contained within the area of the turbo charger, which will decrease temperatures in the engine bay. It will additionally look great in your engine bay.
The GrimmSpeed Turbo Heat Shield is constructed out of 304 Stainless Steel, and is brushed with GrimmSpeed’s laser etched logo. Comes provided with hardware, and detailed instructions to make for a simple installation.
Fitment Note: For 15+ STI's, if the wiring harness is unclipped, it can come into contact with the heat shield.

This part looks great and is easy to install. I recommend removing your intercooler to make sure that you have the two bolts that install on that side as tight as possible. Space is tight so clearance is an issue if you don't remove the factory TMIC.
Installed on my 2005 LGT which had no heat shield. Fitment was great and I I could tell a big difference during highway driving. Also could tell the car stayed more responsive from a stop after running for extended periods of time. Great part would recommend if looking for quick upgrade and clean look over stock.
The stock heat shield is ugly and I don't think it would fit with an aftermarket DP. I bought this with the cobb DP and everything went together so easy. I had no struggle getting off any of the bolts (thanks to PB blaster) and she is b e a utiful.
I've had this turbo heat shield on my STI for a month now and it looks great. Really great quality coming from Grimmspeed!
Easy install, looks awesome. A great, simple product
