  • Q: Just the headers right?  Denzel A.3 months ago

I’m looking at these headers and these only come with the headers right? Cause I’m also seeing an up pipe in the pictures.
  • Q: MODIFICATION  FLAT4LIFE3 months ago

WILL I NEED TO MODIFY THE ENGINE OIL COOLER FOR FITMENT?
  • Q: Tune needed?  Luis5 months ago

Do you need a tune after installing these UEL headers?
  • Q: Tomei unequal length headers  Drew5 months ago

Can I use these headers and still use the grimmspeed up pipe # GRM003002?
  • Q: Size on headers   Fernando5 months ago

What is the size of the pipe of the headers ? 1.5”? 2”? Or 3”?
  • Q: Will this require an additional tune?  U.K.5 months ago

I plan on buying headers in the next few weeks, but I want to know if I will need to get an additional tune? I'm currently running Cobb Stage 2+ tuning. Got the intake, exhaust, and downpipe. Thank you.

A:  A tune is not required, but is recommended. A tune will maximize your upgrade.

A:  Although these wouldn't technically require a tune, it would be recommended in order to take full advantage of the gain in airflow.

  • Q: Will I need an additional tune for my 2013 WRX?  U.K.5 months ago

I already have a 2013 WRX stage 2+ Cobb tune. My engine mods are full turbo back exhaust and SF intake. Will I need any additional tuning to use these headers once installed?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Although they don't require a tune, it's recommended in order to take full advantage of the headers.

  • Q: 2002 WRX compatibility  GS6 months ago

Hello, I really can see no reason why this could not fit a 2002 WRX. Had to change the car to 2006 WRX to find the product.
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This removes a catalytic convertor in the OEM uppipe, so although it will bolt up on the 02-05 models, we cannot technically confirm fitment.

  • Q: Heads  Chad7 months ago

Is it possible to just order the headers? I plan on using an external wastegate setup
    • 2 of 2 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Tomei does not normally sell the headers/uppipe separately, although you would be able to contact our customer service team, and we could look into the possibility of a special order for you.

  • Q: Fitment   LuvinMySTI9 months ago

Do this UEL header fit with the 6qt KillerB oil pan set up?
  • Q: Clearance   22_STI_Tbriggs9 months ago

Hows the clearance on this? Does it sit lower than the stock headers?
  • Q: Tune  22_STI_Tbriggs10 months ago

From reading other Q&A's ive seen a Pro tuner is needed to tune this with a cobb AP. Where would be the best place to find a good Pro Tuner?
    • 2 of 2 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You would need to google pro tuners in your area or see if COBB has any recommended tuners that work with them.

  • Q: Tuning for headers  dalton10 months ago

Would a ots map from a Cobb accessport work for tuning this or would I have to get a protune after installation.
  • Q: Sound  22_STI_Tbriggs10 months ago

*(On a 2018 STI)* If i had an ETS Extreme Catback, COBB Downpipe- would these headers + uppipe take the rumble away? or make it sound raspy/ gurgly even more
  • Q: Uppipe  NiceGuyNate10 months ago

Can I buy this without the Uppipe? I’d like to use a Grimmspeed 3 bolt with an external wastegate.
  • Q: RE obsolete Tomeu UEL  drew.w12 months ago

I ordered a Tomei UEL manifold and up pipe (p/n: TOM 193082) from you all several years ago that is now discontinued from the manufacturer. This current model looks to cover the same years and appears to be the same dimensions. Do you know why the previous model was discontinued? Do you happen to know what, if any, specification differences there are between the two?
  • Q: Does this fit an 04 WRX  Anon1 year ago

Does this fit on a 04 WRX? The title says it should but the "This part fits" section says it doesn't?
    • 0 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This will bolt up to the 02-05 WRX, but since it removes an OEM cat in the uppipe, we cannot technically confirm fitment.

  • Q: CEL cause by cat delete?  Ben1 year ago

Will this cause a CEL because of the up pipe cat delete?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We recommend tuning after installation so there are not any codes generated by your ECU not being calibrated for the new header and up pipe.

  • Q: EGT Bung  Dennis1 year ago

Does this come with some way to plug the EGT hole? My '06 doesn't have an EGT sensor in the up pipe so I have nothing to put there.
  • Q: Power gains  Nelson Asay1 year ago

So I understand the differences between elh and uelh. But with power wise, will thesend work well for reaching 350whp for a 03 wrx. My power goal is 350whp-370whp. Thanks RSD!
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Your power level will heavily depend on other factors like your turbo, injectors, engine internals, etc, but these should work fine for your setup.

Will this fit my 02 subaru wrx
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This will bolt up to an 02 WRX. However, since it does remove the OEM catalytic converter in the uppipe, we can't technically confirm fitment.
