  • Q: 2015 sti stock downpipe connect to Tomei exhaust   What adapter and dounut gasket do I need? 3 months ago

I running an 2015 sti stock downpipe to my aftermarket exhaust, tomei. I been having leaking every where by just using the gasket that come with the exhaust. What adapter do I need and what donut gaskets do I need to make this leak stop, just annoy me lol
  • Q: Fitment   TripleBean810 2 years ago

I am going to be running a Cobb down pipe to Invidia q300 exhaust. I know this gasket is normally used with the Cobb DP but only with stock catback right? Can I use this with the Invidia catback or should I be using the 3" 2 bolt gaskets?
    • 0 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  For a proper connection you will need this plus a downpipe adapter. That will be the only true way of doing it.

  • Q: Fitment Question  Stinkeye4 years ago

Will this gasket work if I have a Invidia downpipe (I believe 3in) going to a stock exhaust? I bought the car like that a year ago and decided not to mod it as it is my daily so I never changed it.
    • 0 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  A 3" downpipe to stock catback adapter is required, similar to part number GRM 077044. This donut gasket would also have to be used with that adapter, as well as a standard 2 bolt 3" flat downpipe gasket that normally is included with the Invidia.

  • Q: Best fitment  Tnpannozzo494904 years ago

I have a 3in Cobb tuning down pipe, going into a 3.5 cnt turbo back exhaust what would be the best fitting gasket for this setup?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  A 3 inch 2 bolt gasket should work well for that connection as long as the bolt spacing on the catback is the same as stock.

I have a 3 DP and Catback (grimm speed DP and a cobb DP), is there a 3 version of this donut gasket and adapter I could use? It seems like the flat gaskets would not isolate the two exhaust components the way OEM one does.
    • 0 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  There is not a 3in version unfortunately.

Do I need this gasket for the bell mouth divorced catted dp to connect to the n1 catback?
    • 2 of 3 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This gasket is not needed for the Invidia downpipe and catback because they use 3 inch flanges. This gasket is most commonly used on stock downpipes, Cobb downpipes and downpipes with adapters to work with stock catbacks.

  • Q: 3in to 3in?  Potter49496 years ago

I have a 3 inch downpipe to a three inch catback with a real bad leak in between the downpipe to the midpipe would this fix the leak
    • 1 of 2 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Most aftermarket downpipes and catbacks do not use a donut gasket but instead have a flat 2 bolt 3 inch gasket. If you are using a COBB downpipe it will have the provisions for a donut gasket, same goes for the COBB catback. If you have another brand more than likely it is a 2 bolt 3 inch gasket and you will want to use a standard gasket for that. If you have an exhaust leak you may want to try the Remflex 2 bolt 3 inch gasket as it is much thicker and made to crush between the flanges creating a perfect seal.

  • Q: Gasket for Spt midpipe to muffler   guest55c52f97caae52790b8cba9c6 years ago

Browsing the forums I've only found one answer, and the one i got seems wrong. What gasket do I use for the 2011 wrx Spt cbe for the midpipe to muffler connection. One forum recommend 44022aa122. I have a hard time believing that. My local dealership doesn't know either. Is it really a donut gasket?
    • 0 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This donut gasket is only used between the downpipe and midpipe. I believe the OEM gasket for the stock exhaust midpipe to muffler is part number 44022AA131. It would be best to remove your gasket and measure it to confirm which one you need.
