Subtle Solutions Intercooler Splitter Red

Improve the cooling efficiency to your intercooler with the Subtle Solutions Intercooler Splitter. This splitter has been designed to route the air traveling through the integrated hood scoop to evenly hit the surface of the top mount intercooler. The splitter will mount directly on top of the intercooler using a pair of M8 stock mounting bolts. The splitter will divide the entering air into 3 equal sections and allows for optimum flow to the top of the intercooler. 

Under harsh driving conditions or if you live in warmer climates, you could have heat soaking issues on your intercooler. Once you start heat soaking your intercooler then you start limiting your performance, as well as the potential of your bolt-ons. When you have cooler air hitting the surface of the intercooler, you are promoting more power and less detonation as cooler air is denser. With that said, the Subtle Solutions Intercooler Splitter is an overall better and more effective design when compared to the factory as the fins in the design are angled to collect incoming air and disperse it evenly over the entire surface of the intercooler which will lower intake temperatures for more power. 

This splitter has been fabricated from lightweight aluminum where it has been CAD designed and CNC laser cut and pressed before getting powder-coated a nice red finish for extra protection against rust and corrosion. Rubber pads with 3M adhesive backing will be included, as well as stainless steel hardware to make this splitter ready for installation.
