This is the Subtle Solutions Radiator Shroud. This shroud makes for an excellent upgrade because when air hits the surface of the radiator, the air gets divided and usually billows up into the engine bay. This particular radiator shroud has been designed to allow the air to directly hit the face of the radiator which promotes better cooling efficiency.
This radiator shroud has been fabricated from 304 stainless steel where it has been CAD designed and CNC pressed and laser cut before getting powder-coated a nice black finish for extra protection against rust and corrosion.
Aside from the cooling benefits, this radiator shroud covers the gap between the radiator, AC condenser, and front clip of your vehicle. This means while performing maintenance, you'll have an extra place to set your tools rather than dropping them into the abyss.
Please note that the yellow/orange hood prop clip will need to be removed to install the shroud. You can choose to use either the Subtle Solutions hood props or any other aftermarket style hood props after installing the shroud. Additionally, those equipped with a larger aftermarket radiator may require some trimming for fitment.

Don't spend money on this stupid piece of sheet metal for 100 bucks. It does not work with Mishimoto upgraded radiator unless you 'modify' it. Who wants to buy a product that is supposed to dress up the engine bay and then cut and bend it to make it sort of work!!! If there was a 0-star option thas what this gets. A waste of money! Go get a fat sack instead!
If I had to do it again I would buy a different one . Fitment is so so . I don’t like how the radiator stays look and they are a tight squeeze on one side . If anyone else made one for the 04 forester xt I would buy that one over this one . Sorry subtle solutions this was not your best .
Really happy with this upgrade. Easy to install. Really tidied this are of the engine bay. Great combined with the hood struts.
Very Easy to install, as stated it does remove the hood prop stand, but you can leave that covered in the trunk. I paired it with hood shocks for that last bit touch. When you take the hood prop rod off, it can still be used to hold the hood open, you must use the small gray hole cover hole on the Passenger Side Strut
