  • Q: Front endlink boot size  BuiltWRXpennsylvania2 years ago

Are the bolts that come with the Kartboy Endlinks the same size that come with the Rear Endlinks? When I installed the Eibach Front sway bar and Kartboy Endlinks the driver side bolt did not fit through the sway bar
  • Q: KB-017-08+Rear question for 15wrx  cica1919797822 years ago

Are spacers required for the install to a whitline 22 mm rear sway bar with vehicle lowered on eibach pro springs?
  • Q: Fitment with whiteline adjustable 24mm rear sway bar for 08+ wrx  Hellraiserzzz3 years ago

I already have these installed on my car along with whiteline's adjustable 24mm rear sway bar for my 08 wrx on the middle setting. Would i be able to get these on the soft setting? I've heared about people having fitment issues when going for the soft setting.
  • Q: 2015 WRX Kartboy Rear endlinks with Eibach 7727.320 2015 F&R sway bar kit  cica1919797823 years ago

I just wanted to confirm fitment of these endlinks with the Eibach sway bar kit. Will the Kartboy end links work in hard and soft setting on the rear Eibach sway bar without issue. Thanks
    • 0 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Yes, with how the Kartboy endlinks install you will want to move the washers in front of or behind in the control arm, but they can be used in other settings for the Eibach swaybar.

  • Q: Squeaking noise  Rallyracersti4 years ago

I have these rear endlinks installed on my 15 wrx paired with a whiteline adj. sway bar. I have a lot of noise coming from the endlinks. All bolts are tight to rec specifications. What are my options to correct the noise?
    • 0 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These endlinks should not make any noise. We recommend loosening the bolts and re-torquing them with the suspension settled. You can remove the bushings and grease them, but that is generally not necessary. We also recommend checking the spacer placement to make sure the endlinks are as straight up and down as possible.

A:  So rue torque them while the car is completely on the ground? I would think the spacer placement would be correct as all bolts are tight. If the bolts were loose I could see that possibly being the noise, however all bolts are tight. With the car in the air on the lift and hand placed on the end link on either side moving it up and down there is a creaking noise. Again all bolts are tight.

A:  If the bolts are tightened with the wheels in the air, then extra stress will be added to the bushings while the wheels are on the ground because they will bind from the extra rotation while the suspension settles. We also recommend re-torquing the sway bar mounts with the suspension settled. If that does not get rid of the noise, then please contact customer service for further support.

  • Q: Hardware? Follow-up question  nyfowler4 years ago

An earlier post states the following... You will reuse the factory hardware for the rear on the 08+ models, as it will fit through the control arm and the endlink. ...as it recommends re-using the factory hardware. I am unable to reuse anything because I am replacing a set of broken whiteline endlinks, and no longer have the stock parts. Do the kartboy rear endlinks come with two or four bolts? Thanks!
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Two bolts are included as pictured, two factory bolts are reused from the vehicle. If you do not have the lower bolts in the control arm it is recommended to source those.

  • Q: Hardware?  nyfowler4 years ago

Hi - I want to install rear kartboy endlinks on a 2008 WRX that currently has whiteline end links (which are toast after 10,000 miles). What additional hardware will I need? Can I use the whiteline bolts with the kartboy endlinks? thanks.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Everything you need including the hardware is included with these endlinks. I recommend using the new hardware rather then reuse anything.

  • Q: Sensor on 2015 Interferes with endlinks install?   johnrphotos625514 years ago

Heresay on the web has it that installing the rear KBs on a 2015 STI runs into a problem with a sensor mounted on the driver's side of the car. Any info on the accuracy of this? Thanks
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It is possible contact with that sensor may be an issue with longer hardware but as is it should not hit the end link.

  • Q: Two bolts  pkluong4 years ago

Why does this set only come with two bolts where the fronts come with four bolts?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You will reuse the factory hardware for the rear on the 08+ models, as it will fit through the control arm and the endlink.

  • Q: Fitment  BayAreaSubie5 years ago

Will this endlink fit on a 2012-2013 Subaru Impreza 2.0L, non WRX-STI? I have the Sport Limited 5 door model and upgraded the rear sway bar to a 19mm one from the 16mm that came on the car. According to the pictures it looks like it would fit, but I wanted to see if anyone would know for sure. Thanks for your help.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Unfortunately, we cannot confirm fitment for that car

  • Q: Weather resistant?  Blackfin5 years ago

Are these links suitable for daily driving in Rust Belt states that see rain, snow, slush, salt and the like? Do they need periodic greasing to stay quiet (like RSW bushings need...)?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These are very stout endlinks and shouldn't have any issues in harsh weather conditions. We do recommend maintaining them periodically throughout the year. Thank you.

A:  Yes these will hold up just fine in the weather and a periodic greasing isn't necessarily required but is definitely not a bad idea.

A:  No servicing is required. The endlinks are aluminum and hardware does not rust. So there should be no issue running them anywhere.

  • Q: End link compatibility  Hal15 years ago

Are the end links for a 2013 WRX the same item for the wagon as the sedan? Same question for the rear end links
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Yes for your vehicle the rear and front end links are the same for both sedan and hatch model. However front to rear they are different, so a front endlink does not fit on the rear

  • Q: Rubbing issues?  Bubby045 years ago

I've seen/heard that using these endlinks with a Whiteline Adj RSWB on a 2012 Legacy can cause rubbing and that the struts had to be rotated 180 degrees. Is there any truth to this? Or is that only true with a larger RSWB?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We have never seen or heard of such a circumstance involving these endlinks. If both units are OEM replacements there should not be a fitment issue like that.

  • Q: Added Noise?  Nate_2011STI7 years ago

Do these Endlinks paired with an aftermarket rear sway bar add noticeable in cabin noise? Someone mentioned that the whiteline endlinks with sway bar had some noise when cornering. Please let me know, thanks!
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The end links should not increase in cabin noise as they are only attached to suspension components which are supported to the chassis with rubber bushings.
