Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs ( Part Number: 7728.140)
Just like described 7 years ago

I recently bought these and installed myself on my 15 STi. The install took about 2.5 - 3 hrs. With the right tools it's a fairly seamless process removal and install. I run 25mm Grapple spacers with these and the fitment is perfect. No rubbing or fender rolling. Aesthetics - improves stance and overall agressive look - lessens the 'wheel gap'. Performance - the car seems to respond a little better in and out of cornering - I don't drive the vehicle very hard. When I got an alignment after - the specialist mentioned to stay on top of rotating tires due to the springs slightly changing the wheel camber.

After putting a few hundred miles on the STi I've found that the product description is just that without any hype. Less body role, less squat on braking and take off. The front springs are a little stiffer than the rear so the front sits a little higher than the rear. I'm sure after time the front will settle a little. The look is much better than stock and ride is much more responsive.

I was hesitant about the install but turned out to be simple. The ride is as good if not better than stock. The selling point is the look.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: Cut OEM bump stops?  jcastaner3 years ago

Do I really need to cut the OEM bump stops?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You should not need to cut the OEM bump stops. These should just slide right over the strut.

    • Q: Will these springs rubbed against my tires?   Hyperblue20167 years ago

My wheels are a little offset, will they still work? . This is the size of my wheel and tire. 18x8.5 5x100 / 5x114.3 +35. 245/40/18.

A:  We are unable to confirm fitment on specific wheels. However, I dont imagine you would have any trouble with this set of springs.

    • Q: Alignment?  jmray0805298977 years ago

I recently ordered and received these but haven't had a chance to install them yet. Can you tell me the exact products I would need to ensure a proper alignment once I get these installed?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You should have enough adjustment for camber in the front suspension with the factory camber bolts. You will need a way to adjust camber in the rear, and we recommend rear camber bushings or adjustable lateral links.

    • Q: tire-fender issue  wt529337 years ago

Will there be any problem on the tires hitting the fenders if these springs are combined with Perrin 20mm wheel spacers?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We have not tested that combination of parts so we are unable to confirm fitment.
