  • Q: Washer  splitthebreak8 months ago

I lost the washer that came with this plug. Is there any where I can buy a new one? I put a new crush washer on with this plug and I am getting drips of oil from the plug now.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Unfortunately, we nor GReddy offer the washer separately. But, you should be able to go to any local hardware store or auto parts store to source one locally.

  • Q: Front diff/ trans fittment? 08 sti  Csaarloos3 years ago

I see it will fit my oil pan and rear diff, but will it work for my trans drain bolt? From what I've looked up its the same size as the trans drain bolt, but I just wanted to be sure since I'm only seeing oil pan and rear diff in comments.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This plug is not the correct size for either of the 08+ STI transmission drain plugs, and they are M26x1.5 and M16x1.5.

  • Q: WRX rear diff?  DSC4WRX3 years ago

Does this fit the WRX rear diff as well or just the STi?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This is not the correct size for WRX rear differentials and 2002-2014 WRX rear diffs use a 3/4in JNPT plug.

  • Q: Not sure about internal screen  teds-rex(old)4 years ago

So does anyone know which stock pans have the screen and which don't? I didn't want to have to wait until the next oil change to order. Anyone know if the 04' STi has this?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  There is not a definitive way to research if your stock pan came with a screen or not, but it may be possible to tell without pulling the drain plug. If your pan has the internal screen, then there are usually 3 small spot welds that can be seen from outside the pan around the drain plug hole. We cannot guarantee that the lack of spot welds means you do not have the screen, but that is generally the case.

I can't remember for the life of me if I have the screen in my oil pan so I'm not sure if it'll fit my 07 sti. If I do would I be able to send this back no questions asked?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  As long as the product and packaging is new and the return fits our return guidelines which are listed at the bottom of the page it will not be an issue.

Will this drain plug work? I just wanted to make sure this product will work for my 08 sti.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This drain plug is the correct size for a 2008 STI, but you will want to check your oil pan to make sure it does not have an internal screen on the inside of the pan where the drain plug sits.

  • Q: 2012 Subaru WRX Fitment  rosedaleny8066 years ago

Will this fit a 2012 Subaru WRX?? stock pan etc.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Yes its should fit with no problem. However double check to make sure your stock pan doesnt have a built in metal screen at the drain plug hole on the inside of the pan. We have seen this on some cars and that would be the only thing that would effect fitment.

  • Q: Gasket?  Dwayne S.7 years ago

So with that thick washer seen on the "What's in the Box?" video I assume those pesky crush washers are no longer needed?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Correct the crush washers are no longer needed, however it is still recommended to get them. I have run the it with and with out the crush washer on and with out their was a couple drops of oil around it, but with a crush it would be dry. Either way its still WAY better then the OE plug and reusing a the washers.
