RallySport Direct is proud to carry the Dimple Magnetic Drain Plug. This particular plug is for the Rear Differential location and is a 3/4" JNPT sizing. Magnetic drain plugs are always a wise investment because they trap the metallic contaminants floating in your oil system.

- Holds magnetism at well over 300F
- Traps metallic elements in microns floating in the differential fluid
Note that two should be used as a fill and as a drain for the rear pumpkin.

Installed 3-4 weeks ago. No leaks, comes with thread sealer already installed. Fit the rear dif on my 2003 wrx perfectly.

Installed one in the lower differential drain hole and one in the upper fill hole. The hex head on the plugs also makes it easier to install & remove than the OEM plugs.

In the video, the plug has a standard hex bolt, but in the picture listed here, it has a oem-style square hole. Did they change the design recently or something?
A: The video shows the old version of the bolt. The current version has the square recess.
