Hi RSD, Planning on purchasing the Fujitsubo Authorize RM cat back which is a 70mm piping for my 2018 sti, would this invidia catted downpipe fit? Or is is there any adaptors needed? Thank you
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We cannot confirm fitment with that catback, as far as the adaptor goes we do not have anything for a 70mm exhaust.

  • Q: how loud  Lapissti1 year ago

Will this dp be louder than the stock one? How does the noise level compare to going catless?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The downpipe will add more noise over stock but the catback is going to play a larger role. Going catless will increase the sound further and make more of a rough or aggressive sound. Again, the muffler will dictate the sound the most.

A:  You will need a new turbo to downpipe gasket and you can use the supplied midpipe gasket or use a different one. Grimmspeed gaskets are great choice for brand on gaskets.

So currently i have a 2012 STI Sedan. I also have the cobb tuner. I currently have a Q300 Catback on my vehicle. Im just curious, how much of a sound increase will i experience with this exhaust? I'm looking for something to increase the sound if possible, and by quite a bit. Thanks
  • Q: Downpipe   Jay 2 years ago

I installed a invidia catted down pipe on my 2014 subaru wrx hatchback, after a week the check engine light, traction control light came on and the cruise control light start flashing . I already flash this with a stage 2 map on my cobb accessport after the installation. So what went wrong ? Any advice.?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Ouch, I am not entirely sure this could be a serious issue most likely not caused by the down pipe. I would take the car to Subaru for diagnosis.

A:  Found the problem. The o2 sensor wire got slice by the drive shaft located just on top of it. Somehow the clip that's holding the o2 sensor wire down came off and the o2 sensor wire got caught by the drive shaft. It also cause one of the fuse that is located under the glove compartment to burn out. It's the blue 15 volt fuse on the very left. There are 2 blue 15 volt fuse in there. I ended up buying a factory o2 sensor in the dealership about $163.00 + tax, and the 15 volt fuse I got it in the fuse box . There are extra fuses in there located at the cover of the fuse box. Maybe I could have bought after market o2 sensor that is way cheaper but it has to be ordered and it will take a couple of days to come in and I wanted to get it done asap. Anyway that is my experience...hope this helps somebody out too. My car is a 2014 subaru wrx hatchback premium. Thanks and God bless everyone.

  • Q: Perrin catback   Dangerdan2 years ago

Is there anything else i would need to install this with my perrin cat back on a '13 hatch WRX? Also, what is the difference VS a bell mouth down pipe ( such as COBB) ?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This will be a direct fit with the Perrin Cat Back. The only difference is the flange in the middle of the bellmouth on divorced wastegate downpipes. It separates the exhaust port from the wastegate door to reduce turbulence.

  • Q: Emissions  Rusty Shackleford3 years ago

Is this Carb legal, or emissions legal? If so, where will I be able to find the paper work on this downpipe so I do not get any hassle from the county.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  All items sold are for Off-Road use only. Any state or federal emission and safety questions need to be checked with your local DOT/ EPA for compatibility with current emission standards in your area.

will this downpipe mount up to a turboxs catback single exit exhaust for the 2008 wrx hatchback?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We cannot confirm fitment with parts we have not tested, as long as the TurboXS catback you have is an OEM replacement stock length unit using a 2 bolt 3" flange it should fit with this downpipe.

  • Q: Would this work?  SubieDevil3 years ago

I have the Nameless axelback on my 14 Sedan, everything else is stock. Apart from the downpipe and a heatshield, would I need to get anything else for this to work with the stock midpipe? Also, do you guys recommend getting an aftermarket midpipe as well or would sticking with the stock one work just fine?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  A turbo to downpipe gasket is recommended as well as a 3" downpipe to stock catback adapter with donut gasket if you are using the stock midpipe. If you switch to an aftermarket midpipe with a 3" flange then the adapter is not needed.

I have a nameless catback, will this fit or do I need an adapater?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  If the catback is a 3" connection at the flange, this will bolt right up and no adapter would be needed. If the catback is 2.5" at the flange, then you would need GRM 077044.

  • Q: Stage 2  spynldoc317193 years ago

Can i use the cobb accessport to do a stage 2 tune after installing the downpipe with stock exhaust? Will this cause any problems using stock exhaust? I already did the stage 1 tune with the cobb CAI
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It is recommended to use an aftermarket 3 inch Catback with the stage 2 AP tune. However you shouldn't see any problems with the factory Catback.
