  • Q: COBB Stage 2 MAP & Nameless Catback  PJ1 year ago

This J-Pipe should be safe to run with a COBB Stage 2 map, right? Also, will this mate with my 3" Nameless Performance midpipe or will I need an adapter/gasket? Thank you

A:  Although Cobb, doesn't guarantee their off-the-shelf maps with other manufacturers' exhaust components, plenty of people do run them that way. After speaking with a rep at Nameless, you would not need an adapter, the tapered end of the existing donut gasket should set into the flange on your midpipe, with the other end onto the 2 bolt flange.

Will I need a converter for this downpipe to my nameless axelback? TYA

A:  If using the OEM midpipe paired to your axleback exhaust, you would want to use an adapter like part number GRM 077044 with a new dount gasket.

Can I use this J-pipe with a Cobb catback exhaust?
  • Q: Cat position  DavidJ3 years ago

Is the cat moved towards the rear to help with heat buildup under engine bay?

A:  Typically it's common for aftermarket exhausts to have the cat furthest away from the Turbo, for less restriction Post-Turbo, which should help with all around flow.
