COBB Tuning Downpipes Catted 3in
BMW N54 Models (inc. 2007-2010 335i / 2008-2010 535i)
Features & Product Details
One of the best ways to free up more horsepower in this particular turbocharged platform is by adding a quality set of downpipes. RallySport Direct is proud to present COBB Tuning's 3" downpipes. These downpipes combine larger piping diameter with smooth bends that reduce exhaust turbulence and backpressure to allow those turbochargers to make more power, more torque while improving throttle response and reducing turbo lag.
These downpipes have been fabricated from 304 stainless steel and will come with a 200 cell high flow catalytic converter implemented in the design. These downpipes have also been designed with a bell mouth which ensures a direct OEM-like fitment.
New hardware and gaskets are provided to make these downpipes ready for installation.
Note that fitment is verified for left-hand drive vehicles only. Does not fit BWM 335xi or X-Drive vehicles.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q: Catted vs Catless Down Pipes 2009 with Manual Trans2 years agoI want to upgrade the stock downpipes on my 2009 535i manual trans. Catless DP's are less expensive and I may have trouble registering the car in Utah if I move from Nevada to Utah. Will Catless DP's give me much more HP gain over a High Flow Catted Pipe? In other words; I'm sure that your Catted DP's are better than my stock ones but would Catless be much better? I have a tune and some upgraded intake parts and usually run 91 Oct. Occasionally 93 Oct.

A: You will have trouble registering in utah with catless downpipes for sure, as far as the power goes, we only sell the catted versions so we would not be able to comment on that. However, on newer vehicle usually high flow catted downpipes are just as good as catless until you start pushing very large horsepower numbers.Devan M. @ RallySport Direct 2 years ago
