  Will this drain plug fit in the OEM oil pan for 2006 Subaru STI? Will I need the M16x1.5x12 size?

  Will This fit the killer b aluminum pan for an 04 wrx? just as well will it cause any issues if i run a 1/2 npt dimple magnetic plug as well in the second hole on the killer b pan?

    A:  The Killer B pan uses an OE sized drain port which this plug should work with, but we have not tested compatibility and could not guarantee fitment. Same goes for the 1/2NPT plug, it should work but it is a universal part.

  I noticed that this came with a standard metal washer but I crush washers still needs to be used. Should the crush washer be used in conjunction with the metal washer or only use the crusher washer without the metal one included??

    A:  The washer that is included is a drain plug gasket and you don't need additional crush washers. It is recommended to only use 1 drain plug gasket at a time.

    A:  You do need a crush washer. I just put this in with the washer provided and drip drip. I tighten down to proper tourqe and still drip drip. I had to drain oil again put on Subaru crush washer and now I’m drip free. I would use a proper crush washer with this plug and not one provided.........

  Is this an oil drain plug or rear diff drain plug or does it fit both?
