This is the EWP115 electric water pump. This is a universal fit designed to replace or complement your existing belt-driven mechanical water pump. By removing the parasitic power losses of a belt-driven water pump, the EWP can provide up to 10 kW of extra power, increased torque, increased cooling capacity, eliminating heat soak and provide better engine temperature control.
This is a universal fit, automotive electronic water pump. Suitable for all makes and models but will excel on large six-cylinder engines, V8 engines, heavy-duty 4WDs, and most engines over 400HP.

Do you have any pictures of an installation of this kit in a Subaru? DC makes a higher flow 150 liter per minute pump. Is a kit available with this pump? Davies Craig also sells digital controllers and other accessories. Are they available thru Rallysportdirect? Thank you, Ron H.

A: We do sell the controller as well, it is under my water pumps section. Unfortunately we do not have any pictures and only have what is available on our site.

A: Hello Ron, The EWP is designed to mount inline, anywhere between the exit of the radiator and the inlet of the engine. Here are a few images of when we fitted the Rally Sport Direct Subaru Kit to our EJ25 engine, at Davies Craig HQ in Australia. The pump is mounted off the radiator, in the front of our Subaru powered 555 Spyder. The full range of Davies Craig Cooling products are available through Rally Sport Direct.

A: Using the included adapters, this water pump fits hose sizes 38mm to 51mm (1 ½” to 2”). If your mechanical pump is failing, it could become a bottleneck in the cooling system and could hamper cooling efficiency. I recommend running this pump on the cool side of the system.
