You won't regret this strut bar. I'm sure it's more beautiful than it is functional, but what's wrong with that? Easy install. The nut closest to the driver will take some patience to get on.

I didn't want to install it in my STI because it looked so pretty...but I had to lol! Noticed better handling after installing this Cusco FST bar. Car is more responsive hitting those turns. Did I mention that it looks nice too? I did...lol!

Cusco Type OS Strut Bar Install

A pretty standard strut tower bar, but this one happened to eliminate an annoying 4000 RPM dash rattle that had existed since buying the car new two years ago. For that alone I'd say it was worth it. As for improvements to the handling, I can't really tell if it's made much of a difference. I did pair it with the Cusco rear strut tower bar as well - and had aftermarket front and rear sway bars on the car before this install.

I was concerned that this strut brace would fit my car as they can differ in little ways between countries,but I shouldn't have.It fits perfect and looks great and I can definitely feel the difference!

Q: will this clear tmic on 2018 sti profet992 years ago
will this clear tmic 2018 sti premium,also will the tanbe do the same i thot i might as well ask here to find out for both bars,sorry also the megan racing on .i bot one but didnt clear tmic so now i wanna make sure if any of these bars will clear tmic..thanx i appreciate it alot

A: We have not heard of any fitment issues with any strut tower bars with the factory top mount.

A: It looks like one of our customers put a review with a picture under the Process West Verticooler (part #PRWPWTMIC14) showing his Verticooler fitting very tightly with this Strut Bar.

A: There is the possibility this will fit with the Perrin Air Oil Separator, but unfortunately we have not test fitted that combination and cannot guarantee the fitment at this time.
