These bars work as well as the look. With some minor cutting, I was able to get the trunk lining and rubber mat installed underneath the strut bar. I highly recommend this product.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this brace. I paired it with the Cusco front strut tower bar, and together I feel like they made a slight improvement in handling feel. Maybe flattened out that last little bit of roll after the big improvement that resulted from the upgraded swaybars. As for the install, I was able to remove a small pre-cut section of the stock carpet by prying off the factory staples that hold the pieces together. The hole that is left over is pretty small considering, but of course is not quite as good as if you performed a custom cutout. See pictures for final fitting.

A: To use rear strut tower brace, it will require to remove the small part of side covers in strut mount area. This small part was stapled with main side cover and it is possible to take this part out easily. No need to cut or trim of OE side covers.
