I'm 100% Cusco for suspension parts as there products are of the best quality for both performance and aesthetics. Bit of a PITA as mentioned with the sedan passenger side install. Simplify install and bolt on without bar attached. Significantly easier whether installing or removing. Cusco provides measurements and photos for cutting insert, but I couldn't resist a large cut to show off all the hardware (helped insert lay flat as well otherwise it pops up a bit). Thanks for the continued quality Cusco, and thank you RSD for continuing to supply JDM parts!
I love Cusco products and finally saw they were running a sale so i snagged another bracing piece for the WRX. If you dont already know, installing a rear strut bar on your WRX/STi is a pain. That is if youre keeping your carpet. If youre planning on taking out your trunk carpet itll be a piece of cake.
just let u guys know it fit on forester rear strut tower bar.every thing from wrx and sti base it will fit on the forester.
This is an item fro this website that does NOT match Cusco's website. This strut bar does fit a 2010-2012 Legacy NA/GT. The only issue you will of course run into is removing/cutting the boot trim.
Bought it even though its not confirmed to fit and it went in no problem! Stoked on it, feels great!

A: It sounds like some have had success removing the protector and moving the line out of the way. If there is any doubt, you can always have a mechanic take a look at the installation.

A: On my 2011 STI Limited, the fuel line was also in the way on the right hand (passenger) side. Moving it was not an option unless I wanted to bend a new one. Perhaps against my better judgment, I simply notched the mounting bracket on the strut bar by about 3mm with a dremel. With the thickness of the material on the bracket, I don't think it will have significantly weakened it.

Q: trunk pad/liner modification richie189 years ago
What did everyone use to cut the pad/liner? Seems like making precise cuts will be difficult.

A: Most people use a utility knife to trim the liner.

A: Zach, my liner is pretty thick. I'm surprised the a utility knife would do the job...was expecting that ppl used a dremel or something

A: We used a dremel and a cutting wheel when we installed on my friend's hatch. A utility knife did not do the job.
