I do work on my own car and I rate this a 3/10 difficulty. The hardest part was reusing the damn spring clamps on the lower radiator hose. Fit like a glove for my 2007 2.5i Impreza. Running highway and city with AC on and 90°F outside. Coolant staying between 194°F and 203°F. Remember to drain coolant from the block too not just the radiator!!! Well worth the $91 price tag despite slight tweaking. OEM radiator cap fits perfect. I have the orange universal spill proof funnel set from Amazon. It fits the OEM radiator perfect with the "green" attachments, but I needed to mis-match the pieces on purpose and add layers of electrical tape to get the funnel to seal on the CSF radiator. The inside of the filler neck is just different. (Blue insert wrapped in tape, green "cap", if it helps anybody). Had to reuse lower radiator hose as the gates was too short. (Maybe it only fits WRX) Upper gates hose fit great, but leave it in the sun to soften it up if you're using OEM spring clamps it's a little bit thicker. I think the two metal flanges at the bottom are for transmission cooling. I ran a hose/clamps from one to the other to seal it off cuz the 2.5i doesn't use them. Forgot to pour distilled water into it to see if it was even connected to the rest of the radiator. 1 plastic flange at top of radiator corner passenger side. Can't tell if it's sealed or not or just another vacuum hole for the WRX. Sealed off with small piece of hose folded over and clamped.

Went in smoothly and everything fits like a glove. It does fit both AT and MT.

My factory one blew and I was really hesitant to buy a radiator that is cheaper than any other option out there new, reman or used from a yard. Be aware that they will send you one that will work with both transmissions. It looks and fits just like the original one.
