Each kit includes an integrated heat shield designed to isolate the air intake from engine heat - delivering cold air into the engine for superior power conversion. The filter element is large, conical in shape and engineered to dramatically reduce intake restriction resulting in additional power and torque.

Worth it, had the Cobb SF with box prior and this intake is better all around. Intake temps are down 20-30 degrees on average, sounds way cleaner with the intake suction noise too and I actually think it improved throttle response and it just feels like the whole engine is breathing more freely comparatively. Not to mention the filter is bigger and higher quality. Would buy again, highly recommended
Costly, but worth it

Easy install, took just under an hour. Instructions are proper. Amazing noise, installed with Perrin turbo inlet tube, mates up nicely. Everything about this product feels solid. And as a side note, for those of you worried about water intake, the Injen 1034 Hydro-Shield fits perfectly over Cosworth's supplied filter.

Ive had this in my car for about five months now, and im still loving it. love the sound, the extra power; not a ton, but definitely noticeable. supper easy to install, but if your from CA and time for a smog just remember to keep your stock CAI because this item wont pass smog. highly recommend anyone whos shopping for a CAI to pick up a cosworth.
High quality intake with wonderful sound

Installed this intake on my 2009 WRX and I absolutely love it. No CELs or drivability issues after a few days but will most likely have my tuner work on my MAF scaling just to be safe. Install took about 45 minutes and I love have something say COSWORTH under my hood. Would recommend this product to anyone who doesn't want a CAI and wants a Cobb alternative.

This is a well built product and went on perfect. In the factory picture it shows the filter going inside the fender.. I would say 1/2 of the filter is in the fender if that and is visable from the engine bay.. vs the aem completely in the fender. It is a good mix of the SF and cold air..

Do you have any pictures of this installed on an 2010-15 evo?
A: This intake is for Subaru's only. https://www.rallysportdirect.com/fits/2014-mitsubishi-lancer-evolution-gsr-2-0/cold-air-intakes/cos1-20019424-cosworth-high-flow-air-intake-system. But no we do not have any pictures of this installed on an EVO.

I just bought this intake for my 2014 wrx and it has a great sound to it but it feels like i lost power in the mid range between 3-5rpm. i swear it feels like my car is slower now. i installed it and re installed it to check and make sure i had no loose fittings. Any ideas what is wrong?
A: A proper tune would be recommended, although tuning is not required for intakes there is always more benefits to having a vehicle tuned for it.
