Q: AEM Cold Air Intake Gunmetal dags3 years ago
This will fit on 2017 wrx Premium? and legal in California?

A: This is a direct bolt on for your 2017 WRX, however AEM does not yet have CARB approval for the 2017 and up models, I imagine sometime this year the 2017 will get approved. It's a rather lengthy and silly process they have to go through, so if CARB is critical for you, I would wait until AEM gets the CARB cert for this intake. Thanks!

Q: Which Tune to run Subie life5 years ago
Before I purchase I wanted to make sure Cobb had a Map and I cant find one for this intake specifically. Is there one or is there a generic that should be used.

A: Cobb only has intake maps for the Cobb Big SF Intake at this time. This intake would require a custom tune.

Q: AEM COLD Air Intake for 2015 WRX Premium opfor957 years ago
I would like to put this system on my car. I would like to know if there are Off The Shelf Maps for the Cobb Access Port from Cobb for It, or not. I would rather have a dry system over the Cobb Big SF intake system if possible. I have the access port and I would really rather not have to use wet Cobb set up.

A: This would probably work with the Stage 1 map from Cobb. The Accessport is designed to work with Cobb products, so getting a Cobb intake will allow for the most performance gains.

Q: Requirements ? james_nickerson238 years ago
Does this require a tune or 93 octane fuel? Or is it okay with 91 and no tune. Also how much hp boost can realistically be expected ?

A: AEM claims that tuning is not required, but we recommend getting a tune with any intake. You can use 91 octane fuel and AEM was able to gain 25hp and 30 ft-lbs of torque.
