Total Function and Form here!!! 4 months ago

I am going on 2 yrs of driving on Houston streets/Medical Center since these are on my daily driver and the ride quality is still holding strong! Once you find the sweet spot with rebound and ride height (everybody has their own prefs) it holds it. My other WRX wagon has Stance coilovers on them and they hold fine but no where near as plush of a ride (Im on the next to softest setting) as these TEINs! This mod/upgrade was TOTALLY worth every peso!! :-D p.s. be sure you buy all NEW Subaru nuts and bolts for the install (addtl $80 ~) you should not re-torque the ones you already have! Also, PB Blaster is your BFF

The coilovers were installed by mysef and aligned by a reputable performance shop everything was good no noises and great ride feel. 2500 miles later the rears are screaming on every bump and weight shift. I thought the price was a good deal and I wanted to give them a shot but will never install Tein products on any of my vehicles again. Save your money and go with a better company

For the price thy're definitely worth it, the quality of the coils were great and the ride is pretty good as well. Now if you're looking for something as comfortable as clouds then coil overs are not the route to go. I tried them on the canyons and I still feel I need better suspension parts but definitely an improvement less body roll.

Good quality product.  2 years ago

Decided to go with the Flex Z's because they ride very similar to OEM. I don't track or rally X my car. So I wasn't looking for something too aggressive, after doing my research and talking to the RSD staff, I went with these bad boys. The car rides so much better than OEM's and the handling is amazing. I have the recommended settings that Tein instructions gave me, for ride stiffness. the car ride is very smooth. Overall, I'm very happy with this product, and I highly recommend this. Thanks to RSD for the help, and the super fast shipping.

Purchased these for two reasons, stance and performance. I installed these with my dad in his garage. It's a fairly straightforward process, the fitment is good. For the rears, you will definitely need a spring compressor in order to remove the old struts. Also may need a grinder to remove the remove the rear bolts as they broke two of our ratchet extensions before stripping the thing. Took a very long time to figure out the part number for the rear camber bolt. Its 901000357 from the dealership. If you adjust the damper to the recommendation by Tein, it feels very similar to stock, I actually prefer the ride. I decided to drop it until the tire was inside the wheel well and so far have had zero scrapping. Corners are a breeze, I can feel the lack of body roll. Overall great product, highly recommend
