Tein Flex Z Coilovers ( Part Number: VSS80-CUSS1)
Tein Flex Z Coilovers 2 months ago

I have only had these on a couple days but the difference is night and day on my 08 WRX. It dropped the car roughly an inch but there is enough adjustment you should be able to get back to stock height if you want. It’s not too rough if you dial it down just a little but would be great for a track day too. So far I’m really happy with the coilovers.

I love them! 10 months ago
5out of 5stars

The Tein Flex Z Coilover kit was a great addition to my car. On the recommended settings the dampening feels great on the street and handles much better than stock. The more agressive settings are nice and firm for the track. The installation was straight forward and it was nice that they could be bolted right in without having to assemble and set starting ride height.

Big improvement 1 year ago

Great product! I didn’t really use rally’s awesome customer service because everything went smoothly. My 13 wrx hatch is ridding a lot better now. I’ve been running them for about 1500 miles on my daily driver with really only minor issues. Upon install make sure you have all torque specs needed. Some forums out there have the wrong specs so be careful. Also I kinda wish I would have put a spacer on top of the high hats in the back, due to a rattling between the high hat and it’s bed I had to crank the back nuts down hard to stop bad rattle. The instructions that come with it are great but hard to understand you will definitely want a metric tape measure and I had to take it to a shop after for alinement. It’s so solid now even with stock sway bars. Thanks RSD!

Flex Z on 13 WRX 2 years ago

These coilovers have been great so far performance wise. On the 8 setting the car is stiffer and rides smoother than stock if that makes sense. At closer to 0 setting the car is rock solid and handles like on rails. Down to 12-16 rides very smooth. Love these coils! The only issue i have is a clunking noise from the rear right coil. I have removed and re-installed to no resolution. Working with TEIN support who seems to be slow in their response time... Will update on how that pans out. Hard to give these a 4 star though because they perform great.

Good for daily drive 2 years ago
5out of 5stars

I installed this on my GH impreza non-turbo, since it's the same chasis as GH wrx, the coilovers fits perfectly. I had to find the correct ride height and damping settings to be able to use in our very rough road here our country. I had to ditch my eibach swaybars front and rear to make the ride easier for daily drive, overall the car feels very planted on the road and comfortable..

  • Q: How much camber with the front plates?  JTO2 months ago

How much camber do th front plates give? Can't seem to find an answer anywhere.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Unfortunately there isn't a set camber adjustment range as it changes based on the ride height setting. It would be at the customer's discretion to find the camber angle and it's adjustment.

Are these designed for the WRX? I can’t find anything Tein besides the street basis that fits the non-STI
