The MONO FLEX coilover kit has been developed for entry-level competition motorsports and advanced street driving. Features include 16-way damping force adjustability (combined compression and rebound), a mono-tube internal design, pillowball upper mounts, and EDFC compatibility. There are independent adjustments for ride-height and spring pre-load settings for increased suspension tuning. The new Mono Flex also includes TEIN's latest technological innovation, Micro Speed Valving (MSV) system, which allows the driver to feel a greater difference in damping force adjustments. Designed and developed for consumers seeking aggressive handling on the street and at the track.

I ordered these back in march and received them about two weeks later i installed them myself and it took me about 4 hours with hand tools very simple install i dialed the coilovers in to the suggested settings before i installed them coilovers were very good quality only complaints i had were they were packaged less than great and the paint was all scuffed up on them also the bolts that come with the fronts to hold the brake plates in place are terrible quality one of them sheered off in the coilover as i started to tighten it down so i had to unistall the coilover and drill the bolt out of the hole and find one that would fit i scratched the coilover up pretty bad while drilling out the sheered bolt so that was not really cool. once installed i was very happy i heard all these dreadful comments online and on forums of how stiff they are and blah blah that really almost made me not buy them but i did and i couldent be happier with them i have them on full hard still and have never felt the need to change them im sure i will at some point but they really arent much stiffer than my stock suspension if at all it handles great and i have no regrets the only adjustments i plan on making is mabey lowering it a little more and experiment with some of the other settings to see what they are all about all in all i am very happy with these there no noises or other issues with them that i heard about sure there is more road noise on the highway but that is to be expected with pillow ball upper mounts. sick coilovers for sure. cant wait to track them glad i went with them and didint listen to all the people who probably have never even owned a set of these.

      A:  These coilovers are anodized and teflon coated for the best in rust prevention. We have many customers using these coilovers across the world in harsh conditions such as your own without issues.

      A:  This would be a great coilover for track use, as long as you are not going full bore race car and running race slicks. Its a good overall system for both street and track.

    When purchasing a set of tein monoflex coil overs do they come dialed into the suggested height and ride and ready to install or do you have too set the hight of 2.2 front and 1.5 rear. Also if they do come preset how tight do the have the dampening set? Thanks.

      A:  They come assembled but are not pre-set. They do come with detailed instructions that tell you how to adjust them accordingly to have them set to the recommended ride height. Once that is set, the dampening is set based on your type of driving. Stiffer for track days, and softer for daily driving.
