Tein Street Basis Z Coilovers ( Part Number: GSS52-81SS2)

So far I've ran these coilovers for about 600 miles, and I am actually very pleased in how they handle for a $500 set. I've been riding on a set of Spec B bilsteins that were blown so having some new suspension is amazing. They are not super stiff, but not super soft, very similar to stock spring rates but hold their own in the corners. On my previous 2004 STI I had raceland primo coilovers for a little while, and these (Tein Street Basis) are remarkably better with handling wise. I also ran the ISC coilovers on my STI and those were more aggressive. These Tein's are very middle of the road, and handle well for someone looking for a mild upgrade for a daily driver with height adjust ability. To be completely honest, I figured these coils would ride like crap, but they pleasantly surprised me. Instagram @reaperwagon for more pics

got these back in December when my oem struts and jdm pink sti springs went out as a replacement, after driving around 3500 miles i would say that they’re still very stiff so thats a plus when going around the tight corners but i thought the squeaking would go away but they still squeak . All in all would recommend if your looking to replace and on a budget but if you have a little extra cash i would recommend getting a higher quality set that wont squeak as much and ride a little softer
