What is different from the wrx compared to an Impreza 2.5i and why won’t these coilovers fit ?
-
-

A: Hello, The wrx is already lower when compared to a 2.5i and they have different suspension components so they will not mount up.

I have an impreza base, looking to lower her a bit. Will these coilovers fit?
-

A: These coilovers will not fit your vehicle.
Marcus E. @ RallySport Direct 7 months ago -
0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: Like Marcus pointed out, these will not fit your 2012 Impreza Base. You will need the F-21-BR kit to fit your 2012 Impreza Base. If the F-21-BR kit is not listed on RallySport Direct's website, you can shoot them an email and they'll get it added.

Q: Upper Mounts Ratfink1 year ago
Are these rubber upper mounts or pillow ball mounts?
-
-
0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: The F-02-BR kit comes standard with front camber plates which use pillowballs for articulation. In the rear, the standard F-02-BR kit comes with metal top mounts but with rubber bushings inside, which is where the piston shaft passes through.

Q: Lowering height. Dane1 year ago
I have a 2004 Wrx Sti and i was just curious how low these could go in the fronts and backs? Thank you!
-
-
0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: The standard F-02-BR kit will drop your Subie roughly 2.5~3" front and rear, at max low. If you're looking to go lower than that you should check out the F-02E-BR kit which is an Extreme Low version of the F-02 kit. The F-02E-BR Extreme Low will get you another 1"~1.5" of drop, at max low, compared to the standard F-02-BR kit. You can check out the F-02E-BR kit here: https://www.rallysportdirect.com/part/coilovers/bcr-f-02e-br-bc-racing-br-coilovers-w-extreme-low-springs

Q: Bc coilovers Jay 1 year ago
How important is the camber plate orientation ?
-
-
0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: The correct orientation is to have the adjustment as area parallel with the firewall as possible.
Jared A. @ RallySport Direct 1 year ago -
0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: Camber plate orientation is extremely important. If the camber plates are not perpendicular to the centerline of the car then they will inadvertently add/remove caster which could adversely effect the vehicles handling, especially if you can't get the caster back into spec due to the camber plates.

Q: Would the tire clear? Danny3 years ago
I plan on putting 245/40r18 tire set up with a 45+ rim offset, the fender well be rolled. Im not sure if it well rub against the coilover though. Or would the coilover be smaller than the stock strut?
-
-
0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: We aren't able to confirm fitment with different wheel setups as these coilovers are only confirmed to fit with stock struts, but I don't see you having an issue with the wheel setup you are referencing.

Q: Tien Silence Rubber Henne093 years ago
Can I use the Tien silence rubber with these coilovers? If I can what diameter are the springs ( 60-90mm, 130mm, etc.)?
-
-
0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: The Tien Silence Rubber can be used, but many of our kits come with the silence rubber on the springs already. As you can see in the Rally Sport Direct photo of our F-02-BR GDB system there are silence rubber strips on the rear springs. We generally only put them on softer springs rates

Q: Stock height ShagginWagon4104 years ago
Will these coilovers allow me to maintain stock height? I don't want my car dropped at all, just monotube struts. Also Will they allow me to take apart the top and put on the group N Mounts? I need somethings smooth that maintains stock height and a little more performance.
-
-
0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: These will not adjust to stock ride height. Their maximum height is about .5-1 lower than stock. They will not mount to Group N top hats.

any fitting issues with installing these on a 2002 WRX Wagon vs Sedan?
-

0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: These are not wagon or sedan specific, you should have no problems installing these on either.

0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful
A: There is no difference between the wagon and sedan. The kit will bolt up easily on both chassis. Please make sure to purchase the WRX specific kit as the STI has slightly different mounting locations.
