  • Q: ride height versus factory 08  Speed Assault072231 month ago

reading conflicting answers. When changing from OEM 2008 struts and springs to these BC coilovers, how much does the car drop? or can it be set to same ride height? how many inches of adjustment?
  • Q: Ride height   Jeremy Austin3 months ago

What is the lowest ride height? New to coils and looking for a set that is adjustable to go really low
  • Q: Preload  Totalnoobie3 months ago

Are this already preloaded when shipped? I really dont want to mess with the preload since im a total newbie.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We recommend checking and ensuring pre-load is properly set before installing on the vehicle. Here is a guide for setting the pre-load on these coilovers: https://bcracingcoilovers.com/pages/setting-pre-load-bc-racing-coilovers

Would these fit on my 2007 RHD Hawkeye Impreza? I see a lot of people say they fit on the bugeye but i haven’t found anything on the Hawkeye.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

  • Q: Ride Height Limits  Justinfitz1 year ago

Can you raise ride height with these? If so, how much front and rear? Thanks!
  • Q: Pillowball Mounts?  DnalevelCM1 year ago

Do these have standard mounts or do they have pillowball mounts?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The BC Racing BR Series F-08 Kit comes standard with front camber plates which incorporate a pillowball for them to articulate on it's axis. The rear uses nonadjustable aluminum top mounts with rubber inserts where the shock shaft passes through. But, rear pillowball mounts are available and a RallySport Direct representative would be glad to speak with you about them. You can reach them via their main phone number.

A:  While the BC Racing F-08-BR coilovers do look similar, they will not fit the 02-06 Baja. BC Racing does offer a BR Series kit for the 02-06 Baja, P/N F-06-BR. Please contact a RallySport Direct representative and they'll be glad to assist you.

  • Q: Coilover weights  fatman132 years ago

What are the weights of the front and rear coilovers?
  • Q: Extreme lows vs Br's  tempemail55c21ba5caae52c9038c295d3 years ago

For everyday daily driving do you think the br's or extreme lows have a better ride?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The Extreme Low's are a variation of the BR coilover line. So they are going to have similar spring rates and the same dampening adjustment.

  • Q: Br vs extreme lows  tempemail55c21ba5caae52c9038c295d3 years ago

What is the real diffrence between the BR's and the extreme lows?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The BC Racing Extreme Low version is a variation (still BR Series but build differently) of the BR Series which allows for ~1" more drop front and rear. This is achieved by using shorter dampers and springs on the BC Racing F-08-BR Series kit.

  • Q: sti?  jacob05dd3 years ago

i am aware that the Sti coils are a different part number. that been said would these fit an 08-14 sti? the only difference i see is the spring rates.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These will not fit an STi. The difference is how the coilover will mount to the car. BCR F-10-BR is the part number for the STi.

A:  Unfortunately, we can only confirm fitment for USDM vehicles which are Left Hand Drive.

  • Q: spring rate difference.  2009WRX2654 years ago

i want a stiffer ride then oem. and im wondering what the spring rate difference is from these and the stock 2009 wrx strut is. or maybe if there is a stiffer option for around the same price or maybe alittle more. thanks.
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These are going to be much stiffer than OEM springs/struts but we do not have a listed spring rate for OEM setups. The BC Racing coilovers are some of the stiffest spring rates that we offer on our site.

  • Q: curious  Spencerm4 years ago

Would these or the tein street flex be better for my 09 wrx in your guy's personal opinion for daily driving?
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  That depends on your preference, the BCs tend to be stiffer, and more aggressive of a setup, while in my experience the Street Flex are more comfortable.
