  • Q: Rear camber plates   Newbie 3 years ago

Hi, I'm curious about how long necessary the rear camber plates are? I think I understand the purpose of camber plates, but in what cases you absolutely have to have them? And when can you go with just the front ones? Thanks for your advice. Been trying to find answer on Web for a while unsuccessfully.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Front and rear camber plates on a McPherson strut allows for the driver to easily adjust the angle of the front and rear wheels. Camber adjustment is extremely useful if you're planning on lowering the car a lot or are going to be racing the car. When you lower a car it will naturally change the suspension geometry, and the more you lower it, the more the geometry changes, which is why front and rear camber plates are useful. They're not a necessity, but they certainly make your life easier when it comes to camber angle adjustments.

  • Q: What to expect  5 years ago

Is the fitment for these coilovers confirmed on wagons? This would be for my 2004 WRX wagon. Also, how many degrees of camber can I expect to play with using the camber plates?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These should fit your wagon just fine. You can expect to get about 2 degrees of camber out of the plates.

Are these coilovers only rear camber adjustable? Do they come with any kind of front camber adjustment? If not do these have separate purchasable camber plates or camber arms for the front? Thanks.
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Cade, Front camber plates are standard on this chassis when purchasing our kit, the rear is an additional option. This particular product (code BCR F-02-BR-RC) includes front and rear camber plates for your convenience at the price listed.

I'm running 235/45/17 tires and wheels from my 11 wrx on my 02 should there be any tire rubbing issues? With these coilovers
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  That setup should work just fine, but will depend on how low you set the coilovers.
