Daily driven
Anthony 8 months ago
I have these BC coilovers installed on my 2007 Impreza 2.5i. No issues with fitment, bolted right up despite Rally Sport Direct saying otherwise (which is understandable). Super easy install, super simple adjustment, and good looking coilovers. I bought these on 8/10/17 and now writing this 10/8/17. After having these for nearly two months, I've enjoyed driving my car that much more. The car loves corners especially. As far as daily driving on coilovers go, one would expect/should expect that at this point, you're not caring about the ride quality. It IS bumpy, is IS sensitive to all the imperfections on the road (I live out in Utah, so it's not great). With that being said, I still recommend these to anyone who wants coilovers.

Great coilovers

Great coilovers overall. Easily installed, easily adjusted, easy ridin'. If you're consider buying coilovers for daily driving, it'll suck because they're more track oriented. However, with some simple adjustments, you can daily drive on them quite decently. I would recommend.

Good coilovers that has all the adjustability needed, but an issue with durability.

Fits MY 2005 Impreza 2.5rs. Good product when it comes to adjustability. It has height, dampening and preload spring adjustment settings. However, I have an issue with the driver rear dampener squeaking within 2,xxx miles of city driving with the occasional canyon drive (I'm from socal so it is usually snake, little tujunga and topanga).

  • Q: Upper Mounts  Ratfink 6 months ago

    Answer

Are these rubber upper mounts or pillow ball mounts?

    • A: The F-02-BR kit comes standard with front camber plates which use pillowballs for articulation. In the rear, the standard F-02-BR kit comes with metal top mounts but with rubber bushings inside, which is where the piston shaft passes through.

  • Q: Lowering height.  Dane 8 months ago

    Answer

I have a 2004 Wrx Sti and i was just curious how low these could go in the fronts and backs? Thank you!

    • A: The standard F-02-BR kit will drop your Subie roughly 2.5~3" front and rear, at max low. If you're looking to go lower than that you should check out the F-02E-BR kit which is an Extreme Low version of the F-02 kit. The F-02E-BR Extreme Low will get you another 1"~1.5" of drop, at max low, compared to the standard F-02-BR kit. You can check out the F-02E-BR kit here: https://www.rallysportdirect.com/part/coilovers/bcr-f-02e-br-bc-racing-br-coilovers-w-extreme-low-springs

  • Q: Bc coilovers   Jay 9 months ago

    Answer

How important is the camber plate orientation ?

    • A: The correct orientation is to have the adjustment as area parallel with the firewall as possible.

      Jared A. 9 months ago
    • A: Camber plate orientation is extremely important. If the camber plates are not perpendicular to the centerline of the car then they will inadvertently add/remove caster which could adversely effect the vehicles handling, especially if you can't get the caster back into spec due to the camber plates.
