I just had this turbo installed and on E85 I was pushing a little over 400 WHP and WTQ. With all supporting mods, this turbo runs great and it pulls to redline hard. My only regret is not installing this turbo sooner along with E85.
This turbo sounds and performs amazing...dynoed 350 torque and 360 whp ....and on a 2013 Wrx hatchback and it's not all about peak ....it matters under the curve.....this turbo mad my average hp 300 ....amazing product good upgrade and thx for RSD for always fast shipping and being there for any questions
I wanted a turbo with a spool up as close to stock as possible but also pulled all the way to redline, unlike the stock that dies in the upper range. This turbo is exactly what I was looking for in an aggressive daily driver. 2015 Sti with Cobb e85 kit, intake, exhaust.
Bought this turbo from cobb direct, but usually am on here pricing builds and buy most stuff here so i will review here. Makes stututu sounds at low boost (some say this is bad, but gold certified cobb tuner installed and tuned it so it must be fine). pulls incredibly hard compared to a stock sti. car made 350whp 350 wtq on a mustang dyno with methanol on a conservative tune as engine and clutch are stock. tuner said it could have made more. is easily worth the money.
This is a fantastic replacement turbo and I am confirming that it does provide oem fit to my 2004 Subaru Wrx Sti everything bolted up correctly and included everything for the install easy plug and play turbo. Overall, the 20G looks well put together from the outside, there is a lot of rough textured areas within the turbo that could have been smoothed out by the manufacturer. For the price it's the "best bang for the buck" saying that has been used more times than a bottle of hand sanitizer at the doctors office. Furthermore, RSD actually called me to notify me that it may or may not fit my vehicle which was kind of them thank you Joshua and Riley for giving me a heads up, but I knew it would fit perfectly fine and it's difficult to find wonder service like the fellas at RSD gave me, I look forward to more business with you guys cheers.

Q: Fuel System McraeSTI8 months ago
Would a 340LPh fuel pump and ID 1050s on stock fuel rails be enough to support this turbo at less than 350Whp? Thank you

This might be a stupid question. Does the cobb 20g turbo fit on my 2013 2.5L wrx ? For reassurance purposes.

A: It is not a direct replacement. If you wanted to run this turbo you would need an intercooler that will adapt your stock style turbo outlet to this "STI style" outlet. We do have turbos comparable to this that will be a direct replacement for your stock one, but this one is not it. Thanks!

Q: Rebuild Nick11 months ago
Any idea where I can get one of these rebuilt? Cobb does not rebuild or supply parts for them.

A: This is a pretty typical Mitsubishi based turbo, so any reputable turbo rebuild place should be able to get this rebuilt for you provided the compressor and turbine wheel are in decent shape. Thanks!
