A Focused Savage
As an owner of a ford focus ST3 I really wanted to start making decent power so I started with the Cobb Accessport v3 to really be able to open up the cars true power from there I've gone into the stage 3 cobb tune OTS Map and damn! 235Whp! Launch Control and some sweet grippy tires will have you putting down modded subarus (From A Roll) since then bumped it to a stage 2 E-Tune Via........ (Dyno Shop Tune) now at 278whp and still a damn good daily driver. (If you like filling the tank all the Time) But to finish up I will say this product has everything you would need. $500 is well worth it How Not To Blow Your Engine With The Tuner........ Follow The Mod List If You Dont Have The Mod Installed DONT AND I REPEAT DO NOT USE THAT MAP!!! No Matter How Much You Think Your Stock Parts Can Handle Just Dont I Did Every Bolt On And Stayed In Stage 1 Just To Make Sure Nothing Went Wrong And Sure Enough My 35,000 Engine Runs Smooth AF! Been Stage 2 E Tune For About Half Of Those Miles And Nothing Serious Has Broken Yet! Btw RallySportsDirect Is 10000x Better TheN CJ Pony Parts!

If youre planning to do any mods to your car, this is a necessary purchase. Plus it has so many options for various gauges and logging options. Install time is five to 10 min, then youre good to go !

Of all the ECU tuners that I have researched, I must say that the Cobb Access Port is by far the most versatile, and the absolute best tool for squeezing whatever amount of power from the MK3 Ford Focus ST that you want safely. No other system comes even close. Took me a while to make the decision to buy but I am definitely glad that I did!

The Cobb AP needs no review, it speaks for itself. The only thing holding me back was the price, but I am MORE than happy I made the plunge, because nothing matches it bang for buck on the Focus ST. Coupled with Cobb's Accesstuner software, this is the best ECU solution for the ST that enables pretty much full tune-ability. Flat Foot Shifting is enabled with the over the shelf maps you download off the Cobb site. Map switching and 2-step is fully enabled with the accestuner software. Saying the car is a whole new animal is an understatement. Passing maneuvers no longer require a downshift...mashing the pedal will suffice! Anyone whose looking to make any noticeable difference in power without loss of drive-ability should get the AP.

When we first installed the v2 Accessport on our ST, the handheld unit spent most of it's life sitting in the glove compartment due to it's inability to shut off, and it's basic design to be a flash and forget unit. When we installed the v3 in the car, we immediately mounted it to the dash and I use it every day, watching the coolant temperature, oil temperature, boost pressure, among many other options that you have with the big display offered on the v3 vs the v2. It's nice having it sitting right there in case I want to do a datalog any time I feel the need. It's great having a progressive warning light on the display, plus the ability to watch up to 6 gauges simultaneously make this handheld tuner hard to beat!

A: No, you would have to flash the car to stage 0 to do this, it doesn't technically change anything but it is still a remap.

A: The Cobb maps are only confirmed to work with Cobb parts. The acessport however will allow you to get a pro tune, In which case can be tune specifically to any mods you do.

A: This Accessport will not work on the 2016 RS. This is the Accessport that you will need COB AP3-FOR-004
