Features & Product Details
RallySport Direct is your number one source for quality upgrades and enhancements brought to you by COBB TUNING.
The COBB Tuning SF Intake utilizes its custom design to maintain optimal flow and net the ideal performance while remaining unedited from the factory velocity stack. The custom conical cloth filter feeds filtered air directly to the engine while maintaining optimal intake velocity and minimizing turbulence found with many aftermarket intake systems. The COBB Tuning SF Intake system is compatible with Stage 1 and Stage 2 OTS (off-the-shelf mapping) provided for their AccessPORT ECU tuning device.

First off, aside from this intake sounding awsome, it performs great. I ended up buying the intake box later down the road to help keep the intake temperature down and it works wonders. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to modify their intake.
Easy to install. Sounds great. Wish I had ordered an extra filter at time of purchase since it usually takes a day or two for the filter to fully dry after cleaning. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
This is a great short ram intake, especially with the cobb airbox. The intake was very easy to install and works great with a stage 1 tune. The only con to this intake is that while you do hear much more turbo spool and bov noise, you don't really hear the actual engine itself. It honestly sounds like the stock intake until you get on the throttle and start to push boost. In short, the ONLY difference i've noticed is hearing the turbo spool at wot, and this is in a 2005 WRX STi. It still is a great intake though, and i trust cobb products!
There is a few reasons I give the Cobb sf intake 4 stars. 1 I feel like it is dumb not just including the post maf hose or creating a package for the sf intake with the hose for just below 200. 2nd I can't prove or tell how much the intake itself adds power wise because I installed it with the accessport with a stage 1 tune. But boy does this thing sound amazing compared to the stock box! You can here the turbo spool and the waste gate go off and I must say it's a blast. I have no regrets getting this intake.
Easy to install and was happy with the results! Easy mod and recommend to get if it's your first or one your first mods. (Cobb AP)

Would this work on the non turbo version of the EJ25 motor with OEM piping ? Appears it would as long as the MAF sensor was the same size. Please advise.
