QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q: Catted vs Catless Down Pipes 2009 with Manual Trans3 years agoI want to upgrade the stock downpipes on my 2009 535i manual trans. Catless DP's are less expensive and I may have trouble registering the car in Utah if I move from Nevada to Utah. Will Catless DP's give me much more HP gain over a High Flow Catted Pipe? In other words; I'm sure that your Catted DP's are better than my stock ones but would Catless be much better? I have a tune and some upgraded intake parts and usually run 91 Oct. Occasionally 93 Oct.

A: You will have trouble registering in utah with catless downpipes for sure, as far as the power goes, we only sell the catted versions so we would not be able to comment on that. However, on newer vehicle usually high flow catted downpipes are just as good as catless until you start pushing very large horsepower numbers.Devan M. @ RallySport Direct 3 years ago
