I was wondering if this is the same clutch disc in the heavy duty street clutch kit, thats rated to 515 ft-lbs?

A: Yes, this is the same disc from the ACT HD Street kits for the STI 6 speed.

my sti has 425whp 26lb of boost and i have a act racing clutch in it and its starting to go after 10000 miles is it good to stick with this clutch? or should i upgrade to something stronger to handle the boost

A: If you are constantly racing the car such as power shifting and hard launching, you might want to consider getting a multi disc clutch that can hold up to more abuse. 10,000 is not much on a clutch so if you are wearing it out that fast you might want to consider other options or reduce the amount of stress that the clutch is put through.

Do I need a whole clutch kit when I replace my clutch? Or will one of these just mate up to the stock components? If not then why?

A: You can use this disc as a stock replacement, however it is highly recommended you use a new, full kit, and either get a new flywheel, or have the old flywheel turned. Reason is that the disc, flywheel and pressure plate will form grooves with eachother, and with just a new disc and old pressure plate or flywheel, you will not get 100% contact between the surfaces.
