QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q: will this clutch hold up ben09sti500whp5 years agomy sti has 425whp 26lb of boost and i have a act racing clutch in it and its starting to go after 10000 miles is it good to stick with this clutch? or should i upgrade to something stronger to handle the boost

A: If you are constantly racing the car such as power shifting and hard launching, you might want to consider getting a multi disc clutch that can hold up to more abuse. 10,000 is not much on a clutch so if you are wearing it out that fast you might want to consider other options or reduce the amount of stress that the clutch is put through.Kirill C. @ RallySport Direct 5 years ago

Q: Firment tcwedge93473326 years agoDo I need a whole clutch kit when I replace my clutch? Or will one of these just mate up to the stock components? If not then why?

A: You can use this disc as a stock replacement, however it is highly recommended you use a new, full kit, and either get a new flywheel, or have the old flywheel turned. Reason is that the disc, flywheel and pressure plate will form grooves with eachother, and with just a new disc and old pressure plate or flywheel, you will not get 100% contact between the surfaces.Zach G. @ RallySport Direct 6 years ago
