Cusco Power Brace Rear Member
MODEL # CUS 692 492 RM
works better than i expected

Don't sleep on the Cusco braces. I feel the braces are a necessity to stop the car from moving all over the place mainly on bumpy or uneven roads but they also help on flat roads for the car to go straight. I installed this and the rear subframe braces and the car finally goes straight. Maybe I have a little suspension issue but these solved it! I feel as confident as ever in my car now. Only need the center flood brace to complete my bracing. For me confidence in $45,000 car is a must. Get the braces! Feel good!

Strong and sturdy and super quick install with a lift. Compliments the other suspension upgrades on my WRX. Price is very reasonable as well.
Doesnt clear exhaust

While this is a wonderful part, its design leaves much to be desired. The center of this bar will hit just about any aftermarket exhaust pipe. I've resorted to getting longer exhaust hangers and slightly adjusting my exhaust hanger angles to make it work. Cusco could have easily built this with a reinforced hump in the middle to allow clearing exhaust pipes. Sometimes even the best companies fail miserably.
Fits GP-chassis Impreza (MY2012 and newer) and XV Crosstrek (MY2013 and newer)

I installed this on my 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek 2.0i Premium and it did help make my Crosstrek feel a bit more tied-down. I installed this with a variety of Cusco products already on and based on the test drives of others driving my car, the braces (this included) do have a bit of an effect. Not the best bang for your buck, but if enjoying your Subaru in twisty mountain roads and canyon roads is crucial, getting chassis bracing such as Cusco's products may help.
